I went to HS in Houston, so I'm with the Astros all the way. Dodgers were 98-0 in games where they led in the 9th inning -- until last night.

LA fans are a bunch of wussy celebs who arrive in the 3rd and leave in the 7th. They didn't even sell out last night.

There are a whole bunch of things I'd rather do while in Los Angeles than watch Baseball...

Or stand in line somewhere, admiring the smog while you wait.

You're in the SLC area, right? The winter inversions there are as bad as anything you'll see in LA.

On the other side of the mountain, not nearly a bad as SL Valley. We get a little in Logan, but it pales in comparison.

Unfortunately a lot of those fucks have been migrating south over the years. In another decade or 2 SD will be a cesspool on par with LA. SD gets worse and worse every time I go down there to visit fam. :ohno:

Game 3 another good one. Peacock came through huge.

I read somewhere that about 1/3 of the LA smog is arriving from China.

You seemed to imply that there wasn't smog at all anymore...
And have you not been to Missoula since the paper mill closed down? :suspicious:

So you're saying that Missoula might not smell like a sewage processing plant anymore..?

I read in one of those buzz feed things that Missoula was one of the top 10 places in the world for difficulty driving in.

The mill didn't put out smog. It was steam. That is why during hot days you barely saw anything coming out of the stacks. :coffee:

Hmmm, isn't Game 5 in Houston? #22 is scheduled to pitch that one. Say hello to Mr. Kershaw.
And? Isn't Kershaw's ERA pretty north of 4.00 this post-season? Let's be honest, Verlander > Kershaw. :coffee:
We get to see if this holds up now after Kershaw couldn't hold two separate 3 run leads in Game 5. Could Verlander put this away in Game 6? Astros will need to prove they can hit outside of their home park.

I got lucky watching last night. Turned it on in the bottom of the 4th to see the Astros tie it up and watched through the 5th. Changed channels and didn't come back until the start of the bottom of the 7th. Fell asleep and woke up in time to see the bottom of the 10th. So I watched 2.5 innings and saw 15 runs including the walk off.

Kershaw is starting to look like the Peyton Manning of the MLB...

Somewhat, last night he cratered but in 9 previous starts he was good and went 8-1.

Huh? Are you talking about his last 9 post-season starts or are you talking about regular season starts. As great as he is, he has a 4.34 ERA this postseason (3-0 with 2 no decisions) and last year he was a 4.44 ERA. He's 7-7 lifetime in the playoffs with 8 no decisions and a lifetime playoff ERA of 4.50. He's not be terrible in the playoffs, but he has been far from great.
