I don't know if the Wolves have any interest in him as a player or salary, but he and Tyus Jones were best buddies before and at Duke.clenz wrote:The process has seen the Sixers declind the option on Okafor today.

Okafor won't be part of the Process going forward. That's what happens when Embiid turns into the dynamic star that he is and when Simmons looks to be a beast. The Process was never about hitting on each of them, just hitting on enough of them.clenz wrote:The process has seen the Sixers declind the option on Okafor today.

Sixers with a win again tonight against the Hawks to now be 4-4 on the young season. Sure, the Hawks and the Mavs have 1 win each, but the other wins came on the road against the Rockets and the Pistons, who are 5-3 each right now. Gotta play who's in front of you. The Rockets are the worst team they've lost to record-wise so far (also lost to the Celtics, Wizards, and Raptors) - tough early schedule and 4-4 is pretty good.

T-Wolves in 3rd place in the West after beating Nawlins last night and 2 wins over OKC so far. Still early, as they also have had a couple bad losses.

Still early for anything related to records and such. More important as to how the teams are playing, even if the results don't match it yet. For the T-Wolves, they aren't playing any defense right now - that's their concern. For the Sixers, turnovers and inability to get to the foul line often enough are their concerns.Gil Dobie wrote:T-Wolves in 3rd place in the West after beating Nawlins last night and 2 wins over OKC so far. Re: 2017-18 NBA Season
I wouldn't say they are playing no defense. They were blown out in 2 games that Jimmy Butler was out. Butler is the glue to Thibs defense. They are still relatively new as teammates, but it will get better as the season progresses. As I stated and you stated, it's still early.GannonFan wrote:Still early for anything related to records and such. The Wolves are not losing games after losing leads, like they did last year.

Re: 2017-18 NBA Season
As we said, records mean little at this point (especially as schedules are clearly uneven over a 10-11 game sample size - kinda like how statistics don't work when examining similarly small college football seasons). What matters is how the team looks on the court and what's working and what's not working.89Hen wrote:Orlando Magic 6-4

Btw, Sixers win in Utah tonight (first time since 2005 apparently) for a 5 game win streak.

First 5 game win streak since over the New Years in 2011-2012 season. Kings beat OKC last night so no gimmie, but I like the Sixers chances.

OKC hasn't gotten used to each other yet, as the T-Wolves have beaten them twice this year.GannonFan wrote:First 5 game win streak since over the New Years in 2011-2012 season. Kings beat OKC last night so no gimmie, but I like the Sixers chances.

Think I saw that OKC hasn't beaten a Western team yet this year - last team in the West not to have beaten one.Gil Dobie wrote:OKC hasn't gotten used to each other yet, as the T-Wolves have beaten them twice this year.GannonFan wrote:First 5 game win streak since over the New Years in 2011-2012 season. Sixers have 3 road wins in the West so far - Dallas, Houston, and Utah now. Got 4 more game on this trip - Kings, Warriors, Clippers, and Lakers.

Crappy loss by the Sixers last night - they let Sacramento hang around and it cost them. Still in the right direction and still doing tons of good things, but a crappy loss nonetheless.

Re: 2017-18 NBA Season
Sixers bounce back and get a W they weren't expecting to counter that L to the Kings with a good win on the road last night against the Clippers. Embiid finally has a stellar game, goes for 32 points and 16 boards in 36 minutes of work and Covington pours in 31 points with 5 of 8 from behind the arc. Simmons quietly puts in another double double with 22 points and 12 boards as he continues to run away with the ROY. They finish up the west coast trip with the Lakers tomorrow night and with a win would be 3-2 on the trip. Trust the Process.

Re: 2017-18 NBA Season
Sixers get some national TV love tonight as the nightcap game on ESPN as they finish the west coast swing with a game against the Lakers. I'm liking the matchup - figure that Ball can't play Simmons because of the size so that means Ball has to cover JJ Redick, which should be a field day for Redick. It would be good to finish up the roadtrip with a win and come back to Philly to see Golden State on Saturday. Tough early stretch of games for the Sixers (have barely played the East yet) but there's a real long home stretch coming up through November.

Actually, liquid soap is a whole different ball game. We made some to test a while back and even gave some to Titleist to try but ever since then when we see him and start to ask how he liked the soap he just blushes....
We've been making it for ourselves lately (improved upon Titleists batch) and it's pretty good. Another $$ investment if we want to go into production though.....We do make lotion, although it might be too thick for that type of bottle.

T-Wolves beat the Spurs at home, remain in first place in division, 3rd in the West.
