As for the playoffs, if the Eagles avoid the Rams and Vikings in the first divisional round after the bye, then that's the best case scenario. Still would mean the Eagles would have to beat a (likely) NFC South team (whichever one survives) but I like the Eagles chances against that at home. The Rams and the Vikes are the teams that scare me the most in the NFC, even with the game being in Philly (since the #1 seed is pretty much wrapped up).

I just did the ESPN Playoff Machine and picked what I think are the results for the last two weeks and came up with:
1. Pats, 2. Steelers
Chargers @ Jags
Ravens @ Chiefs
1. Eagles, 2. Vikings
Lions @ Rams
Panthers @ Saints
That would mean the Eagles get either the Lions or an NFC South team in the divisional round.

Double Eagles for the Wentz family? He's more of a TE, listed at 6-3 250. 12 receptions, for 186 yards and 5 TD's.

Carson Wentz has been an absolute revelation for the Philadelphia Eagles, but should the team attempt to draft his cousin, NDSU fullback, Connor Wentz?

Eagles improve to 13-2 and clinch the NFC #1 seed.
Interesting tidbit on Vegas. Eagles were a 10 point favorite. They went up 9 points on the garbage time TD as time expired. They chose not to kick the XP to go up 10. That would have been a push and a small windfall for the Vegas casinos. Instead, those who bet on Oakland got an eleventh hour Christmas gift.

Sad thing is, the beagles winning the #1 seed help the 'Boys if everything else worked out. It would mean the Eagles would rest the starters next week and make the win easier.93henfan wrote:Vidav wrote:

It was all lining up for Dallas, other than their gameplay against Seattle. As a realist here, I’m increasingly pessimistic about an Eagles playoff victory this season. Aside from the obvious downgrade from the loss of an MVP-caliber QB in Wentz, Foles seems to be regressing and the receivers have little confidence in him, which leads to them not running crisp routes or trying to extend the play. The corners have been absolutely EXPOSED the past two weeks by the Giants and Raiders. Who knew a simple double move could get you ten yards of separation on Jalen Mills and Ronald Darby?
The bye is a big advantage, so they might overpower a tired/beat up opponent in the divisional round, but even that may be wishful thinking with the way they’re playing at the moment.

Nobody’s beating the Steeltriots (i.e. AFC Champ). Once Wentz went down, the NFC was done.
