I went back and watched the four plays after the hit. Wentz never moved in the pocket. Just stood in the gun and threw. We reached at the left knee and rubbed it a few times.

Tough motherfucker. Has any QB in league history ever run a series and thrown a TD pass on a torn ACL?

Also: in case anyone missed it, ACL tear confirmed and surgery later this week.

This is a fun little toy...

Yup...GB has to win out and there have to be a lot of upsets for GB to get into the playoffs.
If Green Bay wins out, Detroit would be behind them. They have the tie-breaker with Dallas, Carolina and Seattle, if tied. Carolina plays Atlanta and Atlanta also plays the Saints. Possible, but not betting on it.

Oh boy. Eagles confirm it is a torn ACL and Wentz is out for the season.
What looked like a good possibility that the Eagles would make it to the SB seems like, to me, a remote possibility now.
At least the remaining Eagles QBs don't have downs like the Giants.

My concern is that the moment I book a cross-country trip, Wentz will probably get a ruptured spleen on cue. Best not to tempt fate, but I'd still really love to go. I love me some SoCal.

Win 2 out of the next 3 and all the games are in Philly. Obviously not as rosey as if Wentz were there, but I like the Eagles chances to win in Philly with Foles at the helm. Like I said, if he goes down (and Foles is injury prone) then we should just cancel the playoffs entirely.

I question whether he initially injured it prior to that hit.

Nope. The hit at the goal line was obviously the moment. Don’t be distracted by the guy on the left in the slow mo at the end. It’s the guy coming from his right and low. Hits right into the front of the left knee:

Nail-biting 34-29 win over the Jints. Foles looked great, but where was the defense? Pass rush wasn’t there, and the pass defense got shredded by Eli.

I tried to tell everyone (hi Bandle) that division games are a toss-up. The Jints and Manning still have pride. Defense took a day off and luckily Foles and Ajayi won the game anyway.

12-2. First round bye. Dilly. Dilly.

If Aaron Rodgers wins on Saturday, Eagles can rest any starters they need to for three weeks.

Rodgers looked rusty today, on timing with the receivers. Maybe he'll sit if Atlanta wins Monday.

I was looking good until Urtz failed me today in fantasy. Such a shame.

Also..see a thread I am starting on Monday. You will love it. :thumb:

Ertz had 6 catches and a TD today. What did you expect? :?

Never had a look that I could take.

Ertz ended up ok but their D sucked. And I had all my RB's get hurt again, just like the beginning of the season to end the season.

So Sorry I took my disappointment out on Philadelphia.

But, honestly, MR. T would beat Rocky's ass in a fight and throwing snowballs at Santa is a really douchy thing to do.

Jints blueprinted how to beat the Eagles’ defense. Three steps and launch without hesitation. Don’t give the d-line any time to get to you and feast on the linebackers with quick slants.

If they get to the Super Bowl, you’d much rather see Roethlisberger than Brady because of that. Brady will take five to ten yard passes all day. Ben is a bit slower in the windup.

Brady looked slow to me yesterday, didn't have a lot of pop on the ball anymore. He's clearly older. But, with Gronk on the field none of that matters, and Gronk would have a field day against the Eagles. I would certainly want the Steelers rather than the Pats.

Um... You girls might want to check your girdles
The Eagles have a LONG LONG way to go before they even sniff the Super Bowl

first they need to win out and hold that top spot
then they need to actually win a playoff game ... then win another playoff game
