The Panthers defense is making Drew Brees look like he isn't a QB on the verge of retirement

I like the Eagles chances this Saturday. Atlanta is on the road again for the second consecutive week after a cross country trip last week. The weather won't be as bad as it's been the past 2-3 weeks but it will still be in the 40's and 30's, it could be raining, and it's certainly going to be different from playing in a dome or in CA. Eagles defensive line is their strength and Atlanta's OL is their weakness. Atlanta needs to run the ball to win and I'm not sure they're going to be able to run it. And Eagles opening as the home dog puts them in a great motivational spot. Getting the Falcons is far better than getting the Saints would've been. Eagles aren't going to be a betting favorite, but I think they win this weekend.

I agree and am also picking the Iggles to win this weekend. The following weekend will be tough, but I like the Birds’ chances against the Vikings. Saints, not so much.

After watching that Atlanta pass defense... Yikes !!!
That might be the best group of DB's playing right now
I just don't see Foles making a number of consecutive difficult passes

The Rams have a nice group of receivers (that couldn't get open)

The elephant in the room...
Is Foles

Make no mistakes about Defense and special teams or whatever...
This is Nick Foles game to WIN or LOSE

Watching the last three games, he is sorely lacking in confidence and the receivers, in turn, have lost trust in him and have stopped extending their routes like they did for Wentz.

Another thing I’ve noticed lately is that Foles has developed a wonky delivery. A good QB sort of steps ahead of their arm and then the arm whips forward. Foles has sort of been bringing his arm forward with his stepping leg and not getting the velocity on his throws that I’ve seen him do before.

I think it’s mental at the moment. If he corrects it, look out. If not, see ya next season.

Eagles finally get snagged to play in England, one of only six teams left who managed to avoid.

Oct 21 or 28, 2018 vs Jags at Wembley. Eh, maybe I’ll go.

Positive: it’s not a home game anyway. Jags lose the home date.

Great, so the Eagles finally go and have to actually face a decent team. Every other good team that's gone has faced a complete dog.

We were going to have to face them anyway down in that redneck swamp town during a still warm time of year in FL. On a field still stained with Donovan McNabb’s bile. Now it’s a neutral field game.

Jacksonville is a neutral site for the Jags.

You know the Eagles fan base. They were 90% of the crowd at the LA Chargers this season. Probably 75% at the LA Rams, with Goff waving his arms for quiet on offense at home.

Eagles fans would have filled Jax and they’ll fill Wembley. The two Pennsylvania teams and the Packers have the three best traveling fan bases in the NFL and nobody else is even close. Dallas will get some fans everywhere, because bandwagon, but they didn’t travel from Dallas to get there.

it's easy to get an RV to England
I can get anything up to 26,000 lbs for $17K in 5 days
Over 26,000 lbs we're looking at 8 days and some additional fees but less that $25K no problem

That picture continues to remind me that the NFL should have a special clause that if the Eagles and Steelers ever meet in the Super Bowl, the game must be played in Happy Valley. Just bump all host venues one year and fucking deal with it.

T'would be epic.

So,
Foles completes less than 50% of his passes
What say you..?

I thought we already shook. Yes, it’s on. Foles is good for 50+% tomorrow. $25 DD. I doubt he throws 30 passes though. It’s going to be the Jay Ajayi show tomorrow.

In related news, to give you an idea of the Eagles craziness, on the on-screen guide on my TV it shows the local NBC affiliate (WCAU) is starting its Eagles coverage at noon and continuing through 9 pm.
