Barring injury to the ginger wonder, I'll predict 9-7, wildcard round win, divisional round exit. Progress.

Still need to improve the running game and pass coverage. Interested in seeing what Wentz does with better receivers.

I predict 0-1 after Week 1. :kisswink:

How does a wop Yankee fan from Jersey become a Redskins fan? I guess I'll give you credit for not being a bandwagoneer in every sport.

It was the "Over the Hill Gang" of the early 70's that got me hooked.
What's not to like about old guys, beer, and cigars?

Bandl doesn't like their balls.

I think 9-7 as well - tough schedule for the NFC East this year, playing both Western divisions. Might sneak into the playoffs.

Interesting movement on the game. Skins opened in Vegas at -2.5, but now every major house has the Eagles at -1 or -1.5. Four point swing means a ton of cash is being put on the Birds.

Right. They had to move the line to get any fools from DC to bet on the game.

Eagles' first TD of the season goes instantly to the Wentz highlight reel. Wow! :notworthy:

And then Redskins' first TD of the season goes instantly to the Wentz lowlight reel. Wow! :notworthy:

Tipped ball. Can't get too upset with that.

Better receivers this year, they actually hang on to the ball.

One of them did: Agholor. Finally.

Tbh, both teams looked really mediocre. The injury to Darby is going to hurt.

Wentz still needs work on the short passes.

And the long passes. Two badly underthrown deep passes I recall yesterday. First would have been a TD. Second should have been an INT.

He'll be better when he's not running for his life. The Eagles still have a lot of holes to fill on this roster. Doesn't help when Jason Peters takes off half the game.

As young QB's go I think the Eagles are in great shape...
Ask yourself what other QB in the league would you trade Wentz for RIGHT NOW straight across

???

Maybe Carr (Maybe)

I'm saying Carr is a definite yes if we're talking hypothetical straight-up trades.

I'm happy with Wentz, but he does have room for improvement, mostly on deep balls from the pocket. He seems to do worse when he's not improvising. He's incredible when he's running for his life. The two poorly thrown balls to Torrey Smith were from the pocket. Granted, he didn't have any receivers that fast last year either.

I'm not completely sure about that..
Yes at this moment Carr is a better QB
but Carr is also getting paid up over $20 Mil a season now (and frankly that's a factor)

It's not exactly a slam dunk
