My ex boss is a huge Cowboy fan......I've been having SO much fun with him the past 3 years! I texted him after Sundays game asking what size of Aaron Rodgers jersey he wanted....Google maps doesn't have directions to where he told me to go!Gil Dobie wrote:Who's your Daddy?

In true form, as Minnesota was the only site not to sellout a Beatles concert, there are 1600 tickets available for Sunday's Green Bay Packers game. I'm sure those will go the the Green and Gold backers.

FRISCO, Texas -- A federal appeals court has lifted an injunction that blocked a six-game suspension for Dallas Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott, clearing the way for the NFL's punishment over domestic violence allegations and likely leading to the running back's legal team seeking further relief.

In the past few years I heard that they would refuse to sell to Packer fans if they knew they were Packer fans.....Gil Dobie wrote:In true form, as Minnesota was the only site not to sellout a Beatles concert, there are 1600 tickets available for Sunday's Green Bay Packers game. Re: 2017 NFL Season Thread
Cardinals/Bucs was interesting…
Both teams over 400 yards.
Arizona holds on 38-33 after leading 31-0 .
Adrian Peterson runs for 134 yards and 2 TDs in his first game as a Cardinal.
Jameis Winston left with a shoulder injury and was replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick.
Fitzpatrick did what he does best: making lots of plays for both teams.

With Rodgers out, it opens the door a little more for Wentz and the Eagles to head to Minneapolis for the big game. I'm not forking out $3500 for tickets though. A lot of people were hoping for Dallas or Green Bay in the Super Bowl, as they were expecting $30,000 to $35,000 for their tickets.

Eagles would travel much better than Dallas. Eagles make the Super Bowl and you could make a killing on Philly fans travelling out to Minneapolis. Heck, Eagles fans travelled in droves to the last Super Bowl destination that was as bad as Minneapolis when they went to Jacksonville. No reason why they wouldn't do so again.Gil Dobie wrote:With Rodgers out, it opens the door a little more for Wentz and the Eagles to head to Minneapolis for the big game. Was following the 1pm games on the mobile device. Crazy finishes to Ravens/Bears, Dolphins/Falcons and Skins/49ers.

Why is Minneapolis considered bad? Has the 4 major sports, lively downtown, Mall of America. There's lots to do despite the cold weather. There's a skyway connecting most of downtown, from Target Center to US Bank Stadium, so you don't have to go outside, except to catch the train. A train that goes from Target Field to the US Bank Stadium and to either downtown St Paul or the Airports and Mall of America.GannonFan wrote:Eagles would travel much better than Dallas. What is face value on SB tickets now? I know it was $1500 several years ago when the Steelers played in Detroit. A buddy got a pair from a Steelers practice squad player who happened to be his brother in law. I saw $1500 on the ticket and was amazed.

Hey, I like Minneapolis - my company's headquarters are in Bloomington and even on a trip up there last November the weather was great and the downtown was much better than I remembered (you can keep the Mall of America - just a really, really big mall). I'm just saying that come early February, if the Eagles are as successful as we think they could be, there will be legions of green-clad, fairly inebriated, loud, very likely rude Eagles fans all over the place up there and it just isn't on the same level as New Orleans or Miami or Tampa or Phoenix or any other much better weather place where it could be. Jacksonville was bad because it was Florida, but just barely, and the weather was so so and Jacksonville is apparently a dead town. Minneapolis will be a more lively town, just 60 degrees colder with snow. But the bars will love it.Gil Dobie wrote:Why is Minneapolis considered bad? I think it's over $3000. I paid $177 for $150 face, last time the game was in town in 1992.93henfan wrote:What is face value on SB tickets now? Talked to my buddy with the Super Bowl Tickets. His face value is $200 for the high nose bleeds.

So, are the Packers looking for a QB, Romo, Garappolo, or letting the next Brett have a chance?

Ouch. Brutal cheap shot by Kiko Alonso on Flacco on TNF. Flacco slides and Alonso puts a shoulder right on his head, bending Flacco’s neck and knocking off the helmet. I have no idea how Flacco got right up from that, even though he’s out for the rest of the game. Tough dude.
