Delaware athletics has probably never been in a worse state. I even gave up my football tickets.

I don't believe this board has any remaining UD FB season ticket holders any more.

The worst part for UD is that you don't really feel like you're missing out on anything when you walk away.

The program is done.

I kept mine for another year - still the attraction of going with Dad down to the game and let him hang out with the grandkids. Tough to fit into the kid's fall sports schedules but we'll make a few. Just amazingly how unfun the games are when 5 years ago, even when they weren't winning either, it was still more exciting.

5 years ago was the year after winning the National Championship and there were even drawings floating around about a major stadium renovation. There was a lot to be excited about. But the wins stopped. The plans stopped. The coach is fired. The rent-a-AD leaves. I feel like we lived to see the fall of the Roman Empire. :(

We won? Had to be camera tricks. In person, Kalm and the rest of the EWU fans (as well as the chain gang) reached across the field and ripped my heart out and Delaware lost 20-19. Then I got to wait 45 minutes in the parking lot exit as the secret service held us up for Biden's motorcade.

Yup. Watched it again over the weekend and this time we won. Held them on a big 4th down and ran out the clock with a heavy dose of AP. :thumb:
