Why would there not be? The USA still has a ridiculously good shot to make the World Cup (thanks to the setup that has 4 of the 6 in the Hexagonal move on - granted the 4th needs to win a play-in game) and if by some miracle the USA beats the odds and does miss the 2018 World Cup, there will of course be a long thread as much of the World Cup is about teams other than the USA anyway. Heck, with this one in Russia we can talk about all the scandals as well.

By don't like soccer, you mean I only watch every single USMNT game that's not on Pay Per View (still laughing about that one this week). I played growing up and coached 6 seasons of youth soccer. But there is a lot I hate about the game too and I do not watch MLS, EPL, etc... I'd rather watch paint dry. Still, I'd like nothing more than for the US to be great, but alas, they're not. US soccer is like the boy who cried wolf. You're a sucker if you keep buying in that they are on the verge of being something.

You like soccer in the same way that JSO is a libertarian/republican.
