100% correct. The refs fucked up a couple of times but there were plenty of other times the Cowboys could have played better to make those fuck ups meaningless.93henfan wrote:

Re: NFL 2019 Season
I will say, the Eagles drew a tripping call on the Seawhores that was blatant, and the two on the Cowboys later were far less clear. The first was really bad. On the second, the Cowboys lineman on the left in the replay from behind did lift his right leg and the rules expert Mike Pererra (not sure of spelling) did speak up and disagree with the angry Troy Aikman.
That was funny in itself. Aikman does a pretty good job of staying neutral on Cowboys broadcasts, but he lost his shit there.

and the Giants complained to the league office about the Cowboys O-line tripping
The Cowboys were called for tripping in week 10 against the Vikings
and then twice against the Patriots
I don't think we'll see the Cowboys o-line tripping anymore

Lifting a leg is not the same as tripping. Both calls in the Patriots game were BS.Chizzang wrote:in Week 9 the Cowboys played the NY Giants93henfan wrote:I will say, the Eagles drew a tripping call on the Seawhores that was blatant, and the two on the Cowboys later were far less clear. The AFC East is 10-5 against the NFC East

The Panthers are just shutting down..where are they at? 5-7? They'll end at 5-11. Maybe 6-10 if Indy or Atl overlook them.
I'm supposed to go to the Seahawks game on the 15th. I think I may stay home for that one.

Imagine how nice it's going to be for the team that beats the Patriots in the playoffs this year...
that will be a special win - the end of a dynasty kind of win
its coming to the NFL this post season
95% of NFL fans will be happy for that day to come

The Bills, Dolphins, Jets put up their second winning season against the NFC in 10 years. Both years coming against really crappy divisions (one winning team last time they did it, and none right now).Chizzang wrote:Presently

Yeah so you're aware that if you add up the wins and losses since the realignment89Hen wrote:The Bills, Dolphins, Jets put up their second winning season against the NFC in 10 years. Re: NFL 2019 Season
No statistics are needed to know the Patriots have had a huge advantage over the rest of the league playing the Jets, Bills, and Dolphins for almost 40% of their schedule every year these last two decades. It's a nice luxury, in addition to Brady accepting a low-ball salary and of course the rampant cheating.

Chizzy doesn't watch football after the regular season, hence he's not aware that the Jets/Bills/Dolphins are pretty much absent from postseason play, let alone winning in the post season, in the past 25 years or so. It's not a Comcast thing, so Chizzy knows little.

Re: NFL 2019 Season
It's pretty easy to find the information...
But I expect you'd rather not actually know and go with your faith that "everybody knows"
The NFL has all the statistical data right there
The AFC East is not the worst division since realignment (with or without the patriots)
That is a fiction perpetrated by those that hate the Patriots - so its understandable
Understandable but incorrect
the cyclical nature of the NFL makes it extremely difficult for teams to be awful every year
Except maybe the Redskins and Browns

I bet if we go back to the Shula days we can get the Dan Marino and Jim Kelly impacts as well.
