The Big Sky basketball season is now underway. The big news so far is that Sac State MBB coach Brian Katz abruptly retired because of health/family reasons after Sac's exhibition win over Simpson. He went 150-232 in 13 seasons with the Hornets.

Wasn't planning on going to any MBB games, but may just go to start a "Let's Go Brandon" chant...you know to support Laird in his interim role.
WBB played Cal tough until they ran out of gas in the final 7ish minutes of the game. Was a 6 point game early in the 4th. Cal livestream was intermittent but the minutes I saw has showed this team is already way more talented than the past regimes waning seasons.

I saw a guy at a Veteran's Day celebration in Lathrop wearing a "Let's Go Brandon" hat. People sure didn't waste any time making $$ off of that....

New Hornet HC beats the old Hornet HC. Women are much improved and it's only been 2 games. Close game at half, SJSU comes out hot in the 3rd quater and builds a 16 point lead, Hornets buckle down a claw back into it and have a huge 4th qtr to get the win. What a difference having a coach that can recruit makes. Hornets should be competitive in a lot of games this season barring a rash of injuries.

I don’t get it.
Because it looks like it cost about $20 to set up. I mean, either offer a real VIP club, or offer something else (swag?) to entice your VIP donors.
This is just cheap & lazy.

Yeah I don't see this as a bad thing, more visibility for the booster club. But agree, why give the boosters a shittier view? Floor level seating is over-rated if you actually want to see the game.
Edit: Just read the ejizz thread. Does EWU not give booze and food at this VIP zone? Hell, even at BB pre-game socials for Hornet Club they'd give us food and booze.
