Other than golf all you have is baseball, the NBA and NHL playoffs, and the NFL draft.

The draft is probably the most exciting of the latter three.
Oh, almost forgot the Masters this weekend, so thanks, there's that too! And come May, the Triple Crown starts, and of course, the NBA draft lottery where we find out if the ping pong balls went the Sixers way again this year. And for the soccer fans, we're in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and the domestic leagues start wrapping things up this month and next.

I used to watch baseball, the NBA, and the NHL but have lost interest. I have been enjoying major league fishing lately and might have to start watching soccer.

Truth be told, my sports watching is way down, the kids are just loaded with stuff that I need to drive them to and watch them that I rarely get to watch other sports these days. The price of parenting.

Hey! Those badass athletes are truly under the clock, and if you drop your fish and it hits the boat, it's a penalty!

I agree, July is worse, but this is where the void in the calendar year starts for me.

Baseball usually doesn't get interesting until you get close to post-season, and when your team sucks it's less interesting.

NBA - Don't really watch until the finals. Just not a good sport with limited parity and flux.

Hockey - don't care.

Golf - don't care.

NFL draft - You're right, the NFL draft it pretty good but it's not much

Yeah, not to pile on, but seriously? I get a lot of folks live and die with football (NFL and NCAAF) and college basketball, but we're in the middle of the greatest stretch of sports all year. July and August are the doldrums of sports and it's not even close. Baseball is the only sport going and it's far from Sept/Oct ball that is exciting.

Super Bowl, Daytona, Final Four, NHL/NBA playoffs, Masters and US Open, baseball starting, Wimbledon, Triple Crown....

I don't disagree but this one is really bad as it definitely impacted the end of the game.

But I also believe that if you are playing well and doing your job shitty refs won't make a difference.

This air ball was ruled a deflected shot out of bounds to the Zags.

Poor officiating all around.

And NASCAR.

No one is saying that Carolina wasn't the recipient of some bad calls (although that video you show is from early in the second half - missing a call there is vitally different than a missed call in the last minute like the miss out of bounds call that went Carolina's way). But Gonzaga's key players were disproportionally impacted by the fouls compared to Carolina's key players. And the game lost the flow that it had in the first period with all the stoppages and whistles.

Until Carson Wentz last year, I had not watched the NFL draft since it left the weekend format. I'll take the other 3 and the NBA draft over the NFL draft. Just too much NFL 24 x 7 x 365 for me.

If the Zags had managed to put that game into overtime they'd have been playing the waterboy within the first three minutes
