I think everyone except UNC Nation and hard-core ACC types will be rooting for the Zags tonight.

I think i'll be rooting for the Zags, however I don't care really about the outcome.

South Carolina (the state, not the school) has had an impressive year with Coastal Carolina(baseball), Clemson(football) and now SCar(women's basketball) each winning a National Championship this year. I'm good.

And Nikki Haley.

Refs have blown the second half so far - both teams in the bonus roughly 5 minutes into the half and now lots of big names in foul trouble. Things that weren't fouls in the first half are now fouls. Not a good game by the guys in the stripes.

Agreed. But Gonzaga also shot terribly in the second half. They deserved to lose.

Eh, game was ruined in the second half by the refs. Worst half of basketball I've seen in awhile. Brutal.

Yeah this game was officiated very poorly. The only consolation was the bad calls were pretty evenly distributed. I think it messed up the rhythm of the game which can be reflected in one stat:

Both teams shot around 35%. Slight edge to UNC and this was the first game all season where Gonzaga was out-shot

Also, UNC is sh1t from the charity strike

Was reminded why I don't watch hardly any basketball- think the 1st whole game I watched all year. The refs call too many fouls. 2nd half it seemed like there was one every other possession. Would be like in football the officials throwing a flag every other play. They ought to not allow the refs to do that.

Even though I picked UNC, finished 1.0 million in the ESPN National pool. Had UNC over Nova, and Nova beating Gonzaga in semi-final.

Huh? Baseball just started, both hockey and the NBA are reaching the playoffs, the NFL draft is this month. Early to mid July is probably the least interesting time as you just have baseball and it's all-star break. Plenty to watch now.

Other than golf all you have is baseball, the NBA and NHL playoffs, and the NFL draft.

The draft is probably the most exciting of the latter three.
