Yeah...the bottom of the fucking boat fell off with Drake, Bradley, Missouri State, Southern Illinois and apparetnly Loyola too.

The MVC used to have a mandate about SOS and RPI. They got rid of it because programs like Illinois State, Indiana State, Drake, Bradley, Evansville would bitch about not getting to 20 wins.

Well, now they can get to 20 wins and not get fucking invited to any of the damn post season tournaments because their fucking SOS is 300, the RPI even with 23 wins is 120+ , and the played 4 fucking SWAC, 2 MEAC and a couple NEC teams in the damn OOC.

I'm fucking over the MVC after the last 4-5 years. It's going no where fast, and it's letting the dip shits drive the boat - not the schools working to get better.

I hope WSU and UNI both fucking bolt so I can watch those dog shit programs with their "bus trips" and "media market that Loyola brought" fucking burn.

Evansville did finish only 2 behind UNI in RPI, and Loyola and Evansville have been in the other post-season.

Real issue is MSU, Drake and Bradley: 240, 275 and 336

Them too - surprised the MAC is in the top 10.

I would have to imagine MVC and MWC are the next two.

Real time RPI/SOS rankings this year for the MVC
1. WSU 47/107
2. UNI 70/91
3. Evansville 93/181...played 4 damn swac schools
4. Illinois State 113/99
5. SIU 138/251
6. Indiana State 171/121
7. Missouri State 235/176
8. Loyola 239/237
9. Bradley 306/325
10. Drake 325/197

Evansville had it's best year in decades, just 2 years ago they were 216 in the RPI, and after this year they lose 5 of their top 7 including the NCAAs leading rebounder/shot blocker and then scorer

Compare that to 2012/2013 and the RPI/SOS numbers when the MVC was 9
24/82
37/91
72/50
83/46
106/102
118/113
144/85
191/177
193/148
203/81

That's back when the schedule mandate still existed.

Notice a trend?

I blame our mess on our AD. Freakin' singed Lusk to a new deal after one decent season in Year 2. Now we are stuck with him and we have all seen what he can (or can't) do.

We'll see what they say after UOP wins the title this year....
