Unbelievable choke. Iona blew two 20+ point leads during the regular season also. They looked like a completely different team in the second half.

Sadly that's what got MVSU to the dance, great representation of SWAC basketballMvemjsunpx wrote:That game was some of the worst basketball I've ever watched. I don't think I've ever seen two DI teams look that inept in the half court.grizzaholic wrote: WKU 59 MVS 58

Yes it would. They cannot look like that against Kentucky or the Cardiac Toppers will be put in the coffin.pantherrob82 wrote:Would be funny if WKU beat UK.

Would love to see a Harvard-Montana second round matchup, but the odds are against it. If that happens, the snack will fly for 48 hours!danefan wrote:Let's go Hahvahd! You my bracket buster!

Davidson and Montana are both out of the Dance. Harvard has a second half left, but may be going home as well.

Re: FCS in the Big Dance
Harvard gave Vandy quite a scare but they fell short once again, making the Crimson 0-fer in the past 3 postseason contests.
Score: Vanderbilt 79, Harvard 70.

Harvard went down fighting. Good luck to Vandy the rest of the way. My law partner has them in his Final Four!

ESPN after that game said it was a blowout how can 1 seed beat a 16 seed by twelve points and it be classified as blowout??????!!!!!!What did they do to slowdown Redick did they switch players on him?DSUrocks07 wrote:Harvarddal4018 wrote: Which one do you see as possible upsets? As I said before I think Norfolk could pull a upset if so the MEAC will continue its reputation as a Giant Killer as a 15th seed preceded by Coppin St('97)&Hampton('01).I remember your school in '05 tournament as a 16TH seed playing Duke and holding JJ Redick to 12 pts for the whole game.
Davidson
Norfolk State
Also, it was 7 points for Redick actually...buy don't remind me about that game, I was there.
If it wasn't for a 12 minute stretch where we could only score 2 points and couldn't buy a bucket or a foul call...maybe the outcome could have been different.

They gave Mississippi Vally a taste of their own medicine using aggressive 2nd half basketball against the Delta Devils and it worked.Texas Southern nearly pulled a comeback on them in the SWAC Championship Finals losing 71-69.grizzaholic wrote:WKU really looking...well, both really, looking terrible. shooting 20% from the field. losing 19-23 at the half.
