Will the Griz underperform yet again this year because of no size inside?
That was rhetorical

The fact that nobody's listening doesn't make it rhetorical.ALPHAGRIZ1 wrote:Will the Griz underperform yet again this year because of no size inside?

So at what era can we start to count National Championships. Does the history of sports only start the year the griz finally won a NC? Does it start when Don Read became Head coach of UM?Mvemjsunpx wrote:Records from that era are spotty at best.SACCAT wrote:

I was old enough to remember both Griz titles, so lets go with that.SACCAT wrote:So at what era can we start to count National Championships. Does the history of sports only start the year the griz finally won a NC? Does it start when Don Read became Head coach of UM?Mvemjsunpx wrote:

I was old enough to remember the last two Cats Football titles (well...I was alive for the last two...remember 1984). BUT just because I wasn't around for the civil war, doesn't mean it didn't happen.Mvemjsunpx wrote:I was old enough to remember both Griz titles, so lets go with that.SACCAT wrote:

Ryan Edwards, who played mainly a reserve role for Gonzaga the last few years, is transferring to Portland State for his last year of eligibility, as reported by KREM-2 in Spokane.

Since it is still 2017...I will keep this here. Cats tip-off tonight in Canada against a bunch of teams that I know nothing about. Should give us a feeling of how the best team ever to throw balls through a basket (MSU BOBCATS) will look. We are averaging about 6'10" across the first 10 players, and all of them can dunk from the 3 line and rebound.

What is their shooting percentage from half-court? 50%?

Even a roster of entirely superhuman cyborgs won't be enough to get rid of the Curse of Dan Trammel.SACCAT wrote:Since it is still 2017...I will keep this here. Re: Big Sky Basketball Thread, 2016-17
Cats win 91-71. International rules (24 second shot clock, 4 quarters of play). Lots of turnovers, but we are probably just using them all now, so we won't have any during the actual season....
In all seriousness, Cats sounded pretty good. Still finding there legs since it is August, but all in all a good look into the year to come. Fish commented that this is the deepest team he has had, and that if anyone doesn't come to play, they will be replaced immediately on the floor. Finally have a couple players that really like to go after the ball, and we attacked in the 4th quarter when our depth kicked in.

Why do they'd need to rebound if they can all dunk from the 3 line?SACCAT wrote:Since it is still 2017...I will keep this here. Do they miss a lot of dunks or something?
I don't believe you.

Believe what you want...We rebound on the Defensive side of the ball, this is, when the other team can actually get a shot off...kalm wrote:Why do they'd need to rebound if they can all dunk from the 3 line?SACCAT wrote:Since it is still 2017...I will keep this here.
