Quarterfinal Week - Breakdown

Post by Mvemjsunpx »

Playoffs

NOVA 12-23 SDKST
ALB 30-22 IDA
NDSU 45-17 SDK
FUR 28-35 UMT (OT)

  • Best Performance: North Dakota St. 45, (#3) South Dakota 17 - The Bison continue to prove their lack of a seed was a mere formality as they embarrass a team they lost to on their Homecoming.

Worst Performance: (#3) South Dakota 17, North Dakota St. 45 - The Coyote defense did a relatively respectable job against the run (4.6 ypc), but they also allowed Cam Miller to throw for 210 yards on just 15 attempts. Combine that with 3 interceptions from the offense, and… well…

Most Surprising Result: (#5) Albany 30, (#4) Idaho 22 - Brevin Easton (9 catches, 228 yds., 3 TDs) outduels Hayden Hatten (12 catches, 135 yds.) as the Great Danes apparently get their first-ever win outside the Eastern time zone.
