The whole subdivision CAAn't.

Give NDSU their trophy now. Save EWU the embarrassment.

The CAA is DREADFUL. I've been saying it all year. All of FCS, beside NDSU, is dreadful.

We had people saying SDSU was almost as good, and they were curb-stomped and ass-diddled by NDSU last night.

I did find it hilarious that Maine beat the Big Sky co-champion and tournament #2 handily last week, but I certainly never bragged on the CAA.
We never placed WSU at #2. The committee did. Everyone who knows football, knew WSU was going to lose. Common knowledge.

So you rated the CAAn't higher? How can that be?

Looks like the difference between Maine and EWU was about the same as the difference between The Citadel and Alabama.

BTW does this mean no more MJ until next year?

Something tells me this lead up is gonna be like the last time we made the chipper. 'Big Fluffy has no chance against that defense and won't be able score...Big Fluffy doesn't play D....'

What's impressive about this win is that we were down 6 starters on D including the all Big Sky MVP and 4 starters on offense including a Payton Award finalist. Pretty nifty bit of coaching by Best and Co.

My sister could have done it. I saw the Weber/Maine game on TV. Hard to believe those were D1 scholarship athletes. :ohno:

Technically 19+ is the lowest official number that can be called "3+ scores"
So you're going to hold to that..?

BTW: I'm more than willing to put $100 on EWU +19

Check your math. Three scores is 17.

5dimes hasn't opened the game yet, but I'm guessing it'll open at around NDSU -13.5 and I'd definitely bet on NDSU at -13.5.

2 point conversions are real
and 19 points is the minimum 3 score claim

So are you going to homo out of this or stand by your word ..?

17 points forces a team to score at least three times.

Wins by... is the terminology in the betting world
not forced scores

:ohno:

The catch here is the "+" symbol 3+ plus scores
to win by 3+ scores you must be ahead by 19 points

8+8+3 = 19

Hahaha, I forced Chiz into his 6.93 moment. What do I win?

Just a quick cheat sheet for Chizzang.

A team leading 8-0 is up by one score.
A team leading 16-0 is up by two scores.
A team leading 17-0 is up by 3+ scores.

Nope... 17 is 3 scores
not 3+

Because A team can "take the lead" with three scores in that scenario
so 17 is simply a 3 score lead

19 is the lowest 3+ scores scenario
Remove the "+" symbol and you are correct
3+ is different than 3 scores

Why do you get to choose TDs for the first two and a FG for the third? Wouldn't 3+ in your definition be 3 TDs?

It's based on the fewest scoring opportunities to tie the game

7 is the highest possible 1 score lead where the kicked extra point is considered a gimmie
8 is a 1+ score lead
9 is a 2 score lead
11 is a 2+ score lead

The question is can you exceed 17 points with 3+ scores..?
Yes you can, so 17 is a three score lead not 3+

He’s got you there, looks like Hen is wrong again... you’d think he’d be tired of getting owned in these EWU threads.

Look hen, I know it hurt to see Maine get their CAA asses beat on the Inferno, but just think of it this way: AT LEASE MAINE CAN SAY THEY LOST TO THE EVENTUAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONS —
