BTW Incarnate Word is quietly suggesting that it is a contender in the Southland. They got over 600 yards of offense tonight in beating Southeastern Louisiana 52 to 34. They are now 3 - 0 in conference play and they handled both Abilene Christian and Stephen F. Austin a lot easier than McNeese did. McNeese has an open date next week but then they have to travel to play at Incarnate Word after that. They'd better eat their Wheaties and they'd better get better on offense. I know Incarnate Word has a funny name but it looks like they are possibly starting to develop a football team. I honestly consider McNeese to be the underdog in that upcoming game.

Cal Poly beats Sac State 41-27.

Looks like the Hornets are doing their usual, "play like shit when people actually expect us to be good," thing. :?

Game was in doubt until the 4th quarter. Bruce Anderson TD reception changed the momentum for the rest of the game. UNI's QB was good, and picked apart the Bison secondary like Grant too Richmond.
