I think McNeese's defense played well. BYU ended up with 291 total yards. But the Cowboys had 4 turnovers and had a field goal blocked that was returned to give BYU a short field.

In a game like that the FCS team needs to play with minimal errors while hoping the FBS team makes more mistakes than they do. That didn't happen. McNeese not only turned the ball over but they had 10 penalties. Twice they had penalties that nixed BYU turnovers.

You play a game like that and you've got no shot to hang if you're going to make a lot more mistakes than the FBS team does.

One upset I missed: Illinois State knocked off Colorado State 35-19
