The worst performance for the Big Sky should be Montana, giving up almost 400 hundred yards in the air to a 0-2 team. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

I guess that's what we get for having a Montana guy do this.

We would ask you to do it, but I'm not sure the group home's computer lab could allot you enough time to form that many coherent sentences.

Thanks! :thumb:

And I'm pretty sure getting blown out by one of the worst teams in the MVFC is worse than a close loss to one of last year's playoff teams.

I for one look forward to mvem's columns and comments each week. He has shown to be unjudgemental and unbiased towards any Big Sky team, including Montana. Bad or good, he tells it like it is. I've come to rely on most of his insight more so than most FCS "reporters" out there.

RMU 7-73 JMU
WAG 24-47 MTST

Most Surprising Result: Central Connecticut St. 24, Columbia 41 - It's not a good sign for the NEC's hopes of winning a playoff game if their (supposed) best team is falling this hard to a (supposedly) middling Ivy squad.

CAA

TOW 45-35 NOVA
MORG 27-30 ALB
SBU 28-6 FORD
UNH 14-45 CU
URI 49-56 UCONN

Most Surprising Result: (#10) Villanova 35, Towson 45 - Bednarczyk seems to be a bit more of a pocket passer this year; he's throwing for 286 ypg, but has negative rushing yardage.

Big South

MONM 24-20 LAF
WCU 28-10 GWEBB
CCU 58-21 CAMP

    vs. FCS: 2-0
    Overall: 4-1

Best Performance: Mercer 30, (#9) Samford 24 - The Bears finally finish the job against a good team. Can they build on this and finish with a non-middling record?

Worst Performance: VMI 24, East Tennessee St. 27 - A closer loss than expected, but it's still #20 in a row for the Keydets.

Most Surprising Result: (#9) Samford 24, Mercer 30 - It seems the Bulldogs have one of these inexplicable losses each year (Chattanooga last year, ETSU in '16).

When they get their sea legs I think the Lions will be a power and they will meet the Bison for the title game.
