Yup. Even though I didn't approve of this firing, it will be an opportunity to bring in a fresh approach to the athletic department. However, I want to say Rob Spear is a good man that is simply impacted by a terrible situation.
I hope one of two things happens:
1. Rob is retained by the UI as an administrator to prevent having to pay out a multi-year settlement
2. Rob doesn't take this to court leading to years of litigation for a wrongful firing

That's the thing, he was fire with "convenience" so Idaho has to pay him through 2020. Idaho pretty much had no choice bc of the whole metoo thing. There was a subtle mention of rape but it wasn't clear, the article makes it seem as if this entire thing is over the WR Level guy. I don't think Idaho will keep Spear on payroll, they're going to pay him and search for a new AD.VandalBasher wrote:Yup. Idaho and its 16,000 seat Kibbie Dome had no business in the FBS. At least CCU, ODU & Liberty were willing to expand/renovate. Welcome back to the Big Sky Idaho, a lot has changed since you left, now it's time to get beat by Eastern Washington on the Red Turf on the regular!

I don't think Eastern fans can really throw stones at Idaho's Kibbie Dome for only holding 16,000 when the Stadium around the Red Turf only holds around 8500.

Not at all. Idaho is in a state of flux with no President and No AD
