last year, ISU took down UNR.

The attached link says Portland St. over UNR. That would be hilarious!

It also has UC Davis favored over SJSU.

I can see UC Davis over SJSU and NAU over UTEP.

Would love to see Weber over Utah but come on lets be real.

Didn't SJSU whip up on CalPoly last year even thought they sucked? Don't get me wrong, I always pull for the I-AA team, but UC-D has been dreadful as of late. I'll take SJSU and the points.

UCD was decent last year, and at least passed the eyeball test when they came to Cheney. They may still be one year away but Hawkins can coach and they have a WR who will play on Sundays. I could see them pulling an ISU - Nevada type upset from last year.

What you need to know, Hen, is they are my new SUU.

Cal poly won one game last year and that was against winless Portland State. And SJSU only beat Poly by 21. Yes I say only because Poly was REALLY BAD last year. Davis has one of the best QB's in the Big Sky returning as well as one of the best WR's in the Nation. And a very prolific offense. Defensively. Davis had work to do.

While not likely, a Davis win over a hapless SJSU isn't out of the realm of possibilities.

The website I've traditionally used for a quick peek at records apparently didn't update I-AA for last year, so when I click through to CalPoly/UCD they were 2016 records. :pissed:

whats up everyone. SUU has Arizona and Oregon State. Im thinking if there is an upset to be had, it will be over the Beevs. Either way we walk out with some money in hand.

Idaho is playing Fresno State and Florida. There will be no upsets this year. However, the Vandals will be leaving each stadium with an FBS to FBS paycheck, about $1.2 mil per game. Each of the games scheduled with FBS teams through 2022 will be the same.

Since this drop down was never in consideration as part of the contracts, they will still pay up. I am certain all future contracts with G5 teams will have an additional clause.

With Liberty just moving to FBS, ISU has at least a punchers chance there.

Not gonna happen. Not with Mike Canales running the UTEP offense....

UTEP is projected to be the worst team in all of FBS. NAU is currently an 8-point favorite on 5dimes.

The Aggies played EWU in Davis last yr. Was at that game and enjoyed it, though we lost. Got a sad phone call that I'll never forget at the half. We play the Eagles in Cheney this year.
