They beat up on the worst full scholarship non-HBCU conference in the nation and the get curbed in the playoffs when they get to play real competition.

Because they lost to a sucky NCAT team and won't play another halfway decent opponent until they play overrated Kennesaw State to close out the season. OVC is similar to MEAC, Ivy, Pioneer.... in that the first place team will tear through the conference building up a good W-L record and then when they face real competition, they fall flat.

2016 - Jacksonville State goes 10-1 with only a loss to LSU... gets stomped by Youngstown in their first playoff game.

2017 - Jacksonville State goes 10-1 with only a loss to Georgia Tech... loses to Kennesaw St in their first playoff game.

Sure, they made a run in 2015, but even that was a pretty easy road to the semis.

When I'm saying the MEAC is better, I'm not saying they would compete in the MVFC or CAA, but with the expanded playoffs, they would have a much better chance to win a game, besides looking better than the MEAC of 5 years ago. I remember in 2010 certain Delaware fans saying the MVFC could never be as good as the CAA, as they only had UNI in the finals in recent history, and WKU doesn't count, because they went FBS. And I also remember certain UNI fans saying NDSU would not be as good as they were, once they joined the MVFC. 5 years ago, I don't think NCAT or any MEAC has a chance to beat Jacksonville St or ECU, even as bad as you say they are. The Ivy's are also looking better than they did a few years back, when Harvard ruled the roost.
