In his defense, it was during the day and outside.

Savannah State would be giving them a better game.
Sort of. Savannah would at least look like they're trying.dal4018 wrote:Humor?????Mvemjsunpx wrote:41-3 Bison, late-2Q

You have to take it year to year. If a SLC or OVC plays a descent OOC and dominates in conference and the conference has a few decent wins than they deserve a seed. Neither fit that bill this year and JSU, SHSU, and UCA should have been 6,7, and 8 with power conference 2's and 3's in the 2nd round and 1/4's. Regionalization and not paying attention to SOS screws this up so instead you get the SLC with 3 bids, 2 seeds, and 4 home games against the Valley #5 and CAA #4 and they still lose or barely win.BDKJMU wrote:Neither UCA or Soft Houston should have been seeded. No team every should be seeded again from that cupcake conference the Softland Conference short of going 11-0. And even then that only would maybe justify a #7 or #8 seed..
I'm a Southland fan but it's a disgrace to that conference that Sam Houston State does as well as it does in it. It is what it is. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Sam Houston State would be a middle of the pack team at best in the Missouri Valley. I doubt that they'd have won enough games to make the playoffs if they'd played in that league.BDKJMU wrote:Neither UCA or Soft Houston should have been seeded. I've seen it, but only in complete (usually interdivision) mismatches.JohnStOnge wrote:North Dakota State averaged 9.8 per carry in the running game. Honestly I don't know if I've ever seen something like that before. I mean, I'm sure there must've been games in which one team averaged that much or more yards per carry running the football. But I've never personally noted it.

Well, there’s no way in hell you should ever, ever have 2 Softland teams seeded, until one of their 2nd place teams beats a seeded on the road...It would be like seeding 2 OVC, or 2 Patriot, or 2 Big South, or even 2 NEC teams..kalm wrote:You have to take it year to year. I can't tell which bed crapping was worse, JSU being one and done, UCA losing to UNH, or the dismantling that occurred tonight.
