In most every area, North Dakota State is the demonstrably better team. Still… they've had relative trouble with option teams in the past, Wofford has a solid run D, and NDSU's RB & WR depth are questionable. I think the Bison pull it out, but they need to be careful not to let this game get close late—the Terriers have an uncanny knack for getting things done in the clutch.
Here's my assessment of the matchups & my pick for the game:
Score is pretty close to what I expect, if it's that high. More concerned with QB depth, if Stick gets hurt. At RB, #2 Anderson, #3 Brooks have been getting their yards, with Wilson doing ok for a true Freshmen getting his redshirt pulled. #1, 4 & 5 are all injured. Backup QB Davis doesn't look 100% after his shoulder injury, #3 is probably a former QB converted to CB/LB Hendricks. He warms up with the defense and QB's right now. He's been playing a lot on defense. Wofford defense will tell the story of the game. If they hold the Bison offense back, it could get interesting. Head Coach Klieman was the DC when NDSU play them and Georgia Southern the last time.
I quite watching late 3rd qtr at 42-10..It's clear Wofford shouldn't have been seeded 7th..heck, looking at their schedule & scores, shouldn't have been seeded at all..
..peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard..
..But you have to go home now. We have to have peace…
..I know how you feel, but go home, and go home in peace.
