Low passing totals for the NDSU/ISUR game was primarily due to strong winds in the first half, followed by a semi-blizzard 2nd quarter.

Worst Performance: Bucknell 9, Fordham 20 - The Bison allow Chase Edmonds to get one last big game in the Bronx (185 yards, 2 TDs).

    Most Surprising Result: (none)

NEC

SFPA 10-14 EKU
DUQ 29-38 BRY
RMU 14-42 CCSU
WAG 28-15 SACHRT

  • NConf Record: 0-1

Best Performance: Bryant 38, Duquesne 29 - Price Wilson throws for 329 yards and 3 touchdowns as the Bulldogs take advantage of Duquesne's CCSU hangover.

Worst Performance: Sacred Heart 15, Wagner 28 - The Pioneers won yardage handily, but 3 lost fumbles and 3 failed fourth downs are hard to overcome.

Most Surprising Result: Sacred Heart 15, Wagner 28 - Sacred Heart has gone 6-12 in conference play since winning their last NEC title in 2014.

CAA

UD 7-28 NOVA
UNH 0-15 ALB
SBU 20-19 MAINE
URI 10-29 TOW
W&M 20-27 RICH
JMU 31-3 ELON

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 23-12

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 21-3

Best Performance: (#1) James Madison 31, (#11) Elon 3 - The Dukes crack 400 yards for the first time since September as they easily clinch a 2nd. straight CAA title.

Worst Performance: Rhode Island 10, Towson 29 - The Rams haven't won consecutive games since 2010.

Most Surprising Result: Villanova 28, Delaware 7 - The Wildcats score as many points as they did in their last 4 games combined as they spoil Delaware's playoff hopes.

Big South

LIB 19-20 CHSO
GWEBB 21-31 PRESBY
MONM 21-52 KENN

  • NConf Record: 1-0
    Overall: 20-14

    Overall: 13-9

Best Performance: (#22) Kennesaw St. 52, Monmouth 21 - The Owls make the playoffs in just their 3rd. year of existence by winning rushing 405-146 and winning turnovers 5-0.

Worst Performance: Gardner-Webb 21, Presbyterian 31 - The Bulldogs finish 1-10, which is the worst record in program history.

Most Surprising Result: Monmouth 21, (#22) Kennesaw St. 52 - The Hawks played like this in their only game against a good team and they still got an at-large bid? :? :suspicious:

SoCon

WCU 10-65 UNC
WOFF 10-31 SCAR
CIT 3-61 CLEM
MER 0-56 BAMA
FUR 20-26 SAM
ETSU 3-10 UTC

    Overall: 9-5

Best Performance: (#17) Samford 26, (#20) Furman 20 - Kelvin McKnight catches 10 balls for 179 yards and a touchdown in what could've been a playoff-elimination game (though it ultimately wasn't).

Worst Performance: East Tennessee St. 3, Tennessee-Chattanooga 10 - The Buccaneer offense puts up just 116 yards in a tough loss.

Most Surprising Result: Western Carolina 10, (FBS) North Carolina 65 - Given that WCU needed to win this to make the playoffs and that UNC might be the worst team in the ACC, this was a pathetic performance.

Tomorrow: Non-Playoff Folks…

Ivy League

COR 22-29 PENN
BROWN 6-24 COLUM
PRINCE 44-54 DART
HARV 3-24 YALE

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 18-6

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 17-6

Best Performance: Yale 24, Harvard 3 - The Bulldogs win their first outright Ivy title in 37 years by holding Harvard to 164 yards.

Worst Performance: Cornell 22, Penn 29 - The Big Red now have 12 consecutive non-winning seasons.

Most Surprising Result: Columbia - The Lions finish with 8 (or more) wins for the first time since 1996, and for just the second time since 1945.

MEAC

DSU 6-77 FSU
NFOLK 45-32 MORG
HOW 17-20 HAMP
NCCEN 10-24 NCAT
SCSU 10-34 SAV
FAMU 24-29 BCU (in Orlando, FL)

  • NConf Record: 0-1
    Overall: 10-22

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 4-11

Best Performance: (#8) North Carolina A&T 24, NC Central 10 - This time, the Aggies avoided choking and they will take an 11-0 record into the Celebration Bowl.

Worst Performance: South Carolina St. 10, Savannah St. 34 - The Bulldogs finish 3-8, their worst mark in Buddy Pough's 16 years as head coach.

Most Surprising Result: Savannah St. 34, South Carolina St. 10 - The Tigers appear to finally be building toward having a decent team, so it's kind of a shame they're gonna move back down to DII.

SWAC

PVAMU 42-28 UIW
TXSO 24-10 UAPB
kyst 13-21 AAMU
ALST 16-10 MVSU
ALCORN 3-7 JSU

  • NConf Record: 2-0
    Overall: 9-25

    vs. FCS: 1-0
    Overall: 3-11

Best Performance: Jackson St. 7, Alcorn St. 3 - The Tigers salvage something from their season by winning 3 of their last 4, including this big upset.

Worst Performance: Arkansas-Pine Bluff 10, Texas Southern 24 - The Golden Lions finish 3-19 over the past two seasons, their worst stretch since going 1-51 from 1986-90.

Most Surprising Result: Alcorn St. 3, Jackson St. 7 - I hope this happened simply because Alcorn was unmotivated after clinching the East Division. Otherwise, the SWAC Championship Game is going to be very boring.

Unfortunately the weak economic foundation is the reason SSU is going back to the SIAC or maybe the CIAA.Shocking to see SC St in the role of cellar dweller in the MEAC.PVAM pulls non-conference upset over Incarnate Word!!!!
