Yes dammit. Houston Baptist had a real chance to win that game and if they HAD that would've really helped McNeese's at large prospects should McNeese win its last two games.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Nicholls won on the final play after HBU kicked a 50-yard FG with 23 seconds left.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Nicholls won despite struggling yet again (23-17 over HBU)
Still hope. Nicholls State finishes at Stephen F. Austin and at Southeastern Louisiana. The Colonels losing both of those games is not beyond the realm of reasonable possibility.
But them losing to Houston Baptist would've been outstanding. That would've been a "bad" loss.
Houston Baptist is pretty good on defense. They do tend to fade because their offense is zero and they stay on the field all night. But until they start getting tired they're stout.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Since when does the Pioneer have an autobid?!?
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Since the playoffs expanded to 24 in 2013.SuperHornet wrote:Since when does the Pioneer have an autobid?!?
I was also wrong that USD has officially clinched—Campbell can theoretically tie them without a head-to-head meeting and that tiebreaker would come down to common games.
