Re: Week 8 Score Thread
Northwestern State giving another Southland frontrunner trouble. 10-10 with Central Arkansas five minutes before halftime. We'll see if they can continue to hang.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

SUU scored again, though they didn't need to (they could've knelt it out).

Re: Week 8 Score Thread
Apparently Sac won this game with what may have been their fourth-string quarterback (according to posters on their message board, anyway). Roman Ale threw for 263 yards and 2 TDs on just 19 attempts in place of the injured Kevin Thomson. The backup QB was also hurt and another QB was apparently knocked out for the season a while back.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Sac held on to beat NoDak 34-27, ending their road losing streak

I think he was 3rd, but 4th sounds sooo much better.Mvemjsunpx wrote:Apparently Sac won this game with what may have been their fourth-string quarterback (according to posters on their message board, anyway). 1) Thomson
2) Clapper
3) Ale
Unless Cassel is 3 making Ale 4, but the board also said Cassel was out with injury earlier in the year.
Check that. Cassel isn't even on the roster anymore. Ale would be 3.
Hornet D did well but Zimmerman did move the ball for UND. The Hornets had to settle for 2 FGs from inside the 5 yard line. This game isn't even close if we punch those in for TDs.

Weber threw a pick, lost two fumbles and missed a field goal, it "could" have been a bigger spread, plus Poly's defense is pretty solid, they did hold SUU to only 20 in Cedar City two weeks ago

Re: Week 8 Score Thread
Let's be real, anybody that gets up 2 possessions on CP is going to go pack it in and play a conservative game from there. CP isn't going to come back unless there are really bad turnovers.Wildcat Ryan wrote:Grizalltheway wrote: Didn't see the game, but only 17 points against a winless CP?
