Weber loses by 13. 33-20. Great showing and played well enough to win but turnovers kill

EWU lost to NDSU at home 40-13. I think even I overrated the Eags, and I was more skeptical on them than most.

I also apparently overrated NAU, because they lost to WIU at home 38-20.

Griz trail Washington 35-7, early 3Q, so nothing surprising there.

MSU trails SoDak State 17-7, early 3Q

Sac all over UIW early, 21-0

San Diego/Davis tied at 7

Suutah rolling all over Stephen F. Austin 48-14, early 4Q

Jackrabbits win after a lousy last-ditch drive attempt by MSU

Davis leads San Diego 21-7, early 4Q

Sac destroying Incarnate Word 49-8, late 3Q

Davis now all over San Diego, 35-7 4Q

I'm guessing Aggie fans really wish they'd hired Dan Hawkins 4 years ago.

I feel somewhat better about McNeese losing to Nicholls State on a field goal as time ran out last week. I'm still hacked off about it because McNeese dominated in terms of being able to move the ball and had a bunch of red zone penetrations with few points to show for it. I think they had something like 6 red zone penetrations in the first half and ended up with 9 points to show for it. Then they were sailing along comfortably driving with a 16-7 lead and threw and 67 yard pick six to make it 16-14. Had an 80 yard touchdown run called back due to a completely unnecessary holding infraction against a wide receiver. Nicholls State had 304 total yards and 144 of them came on two long TD pass plays (67 and 77 yards). They couldn't move the ball consistently at all but still ended up with 37 points. That sort of thing.

BUT...Nicholls State gave Texas A&M all it wanted last night. Score was tied 14-14 at the end of the third quarter. Texas A&M ended up with 393 total yards to Nicholls State's 338. Very respectable performance by the Colonels.
