I gotta say, I can see how the confusion could have happened to some degree initially. I don't know why they would have needed to detain them as long as the registration for the camaro checked out. Say what you will, but there aren't a lot of black people of that age in that area, I can understand the initial suspicion. We aren't getting all the details and if you talk with my cop friend, eye witness statements are unreliable at best. The car make isn't as concrete of proof as the media would like us to believe. It does sound like these cops were being dicks but we are only hearing one side so far.
