We conclude our open discussion segment by starting our look at the defense with everyone's thoughts on the defensive line.

Liberty returns all-conference defensive end (and 2015 all american candidate) Chima Uzowihe to lead the front line for the Flames defense. They did lose all-conference standout Niko Davis (now in camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers) and Toby Onyechi. There is a good bit of experience returning so hopefully there will be players to step in and take the load left by those losses and others.

Coastal returns four seniors in : Calvin Hollenhorst, Roderick Holder, and DTs LeRoy Cummings and Marcus Crowder. All four of them started all 14 games for CCU last year.

Rod had 12.5 TFLs.
Calvin had 60 Tackles.

PC has entire front four (two deep) returning on DL, should be an area of strength. One DE with 9.5 TFL/4.0 Sacks in 2014, another DE had 4.5 Sacks and was BS Player of Week. Not the biggest group, but quick/athletic.
