For the +/-, the # on the left is for conference record while the # on the right is overall record.
Notes
I originally made these picks before Montana lost key players in August.
Idaho State exceeded my expectations a bit, and many people thought I was overrating them at 5-7.
NoCo did better than I expected, but I still don't think you can look at this past season as encouraging for the Bears.
Portland State was easily the most disappointing team. There's no excuse for that kind of record with that kind of talent.

I cant wait for next season I thought that ISU was a year away from putting things together. ON offense we did not as much on D. I have seen the talent that was red shirted this year and the recruits that have already made trips. Next season ISU wins the BSC.

If Sankey stayed healthy I think he would be in the running for the LB nod. He should be 100% for next season.
Also have to give Sears some credit for taking over at a tumultuous time and getting Sac to a winning season (even though he inherited a roster loaded with talent). I'm not sure how Sears doesn't get the permanent HC gig in Sac.

Doubftul. ISU had a good season, but they are probably not at the point where they can replace great talent easily from one year to the next. They're probably several consecutive winning seasons away from being able to do that. Arias graduating will be a huge loss, so it'll be interesting to see how well that offense performs with a new Qb.
The two QB'S that are waiting are just as good. The o-line will return 4 and the x man will be back. The #2 RB is just as good. ISU already has the talent and will continue to improve. We get EWU UM and MSU in Pocatello and I think ISU will win. Next year ISU will go 10-2.
Since when is an Olympic gymnast and Mirror Ball Trophy winner a Big Sky kick returner?
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Yep. He probably was the best back over the second half of the season, but it's hard to argue with the fact that Finney led the league in rushing by a decent margin (and that's even with only 1 carry against Weber).
Rodgers and Neary anchored an offensive line that helped the Eagles average a national-best 44.6 points and 522.8 yards of offense per game.
The scoring number was a national best, but not the yardage number. ISU averaged 562 ypg (Yale led the nation with 571.5 ypg).
That being said, I gave EWU best overall offense because they scored more and played a slightly tougher schedule. Also, the yards-per-play numbers between EWU & ISU were actually about the same because the Bengals averaged a crazy 82.7 offensive plays-per-game.
God if only our defense could have played just average .
We might have pulled out at least one more win between EWU or Cal Poly. No way with all those turn overs would we have beat UM. Never know though. You play with the cards you are dealt.
