Post by SuperHornet »

The former Montana State player and coach has died at age 72. He was a member of MSU's first Big Sky championship team as a junior lineman in 1964, and was part of the coaching staff that won the D-II National Championship in 1976. As a head coach, he got the Bobcats turned around, with four winning seasons after several seasons of misery. Hysell was inducted into the MSU HOF in 2004.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
