Was that 2-pt by Vandy a fake PAT? I can see getting caught off-guard by that. But if the Vandy offense stayed in after the Chuck South PAT Block came on, that's inexcusable....

Ivy League

PENN 22-60 FORD
COLUM 28-61 MONM
COR 7-24 HARV
HC 24-27 BROWN
DART 38-31 YALE
PRINCE 30-31 COLG

  • NConf Record: 1-3
    Overall: 8-12

    vs. FCS: 1-3
    Overall: 7-12

Best Performance: Dartmouth 38, Yale 31 - The Big Green force 3 turnovers & hold Yale to a season-low 480 yards.

Worst Performance: Columbia 28, Monmouth 61 - The Lions trailed Monmouth 61-7 before netting 3 garbage touchdowns.

Most Surprising Result: Yale 31, Dartmouth 38 - Bulldog hopes for their first outright Ivy title since 1980 suffered a serious dent here.

SWAC

ALST 24-34 PVAMU
ALCORN 21-28 GRAM
SU 35-34 AAMU
MVSU 27-23 JSU

  • NConf Record: 0-0
    Overall: 11-13

    vs. FCS: 0-0
    Overall: 2-8

Best Performance: Grambling 28, Alcorn St. 21 - Just when you thought Alcorn would cruise unobstructed toward a SWAC title, last year's conference laughing stocks rise up & knock them off.

Worst Performance: Jackson St. 23, Mississippi Valley St. 27 - Last week's second-half hangover for the Tigers continues as they lose to MVSU for the first time in 20 years.

Most Surprising Result: Alcorn St. 21, Grambling 28 - Odd that they lost given the Braves won pretty much every stat, but it may not really matter since they can still easily win the East and get revenge in the SWAC Championship Game

Will Grambling have what it takes to knock off Southern this year?

I hope so....
