Liberty wins 55-48 in the first OT. I believe that's FBS scalp #8 (not counting wins over Charlotte, of course).

Youngstown down 14-3 to Willynois
Bobcats up 14-10 on Davis late first quarter. MSU looks even more EWU-like than EWU does.

21-10 Vandy at the half. Chuck South blocked a punt and ran it in for a TD with 40 seconds left in the half and let Vandy drive down and kick a field goal with 4 seconds left on the clock. Could get interesting in the 2nd half. Oh and Reyes is out tonight. In a boot on the sideline left ankle sprain.

Chuck South drives 60 yards and cuts the Vandy lead to 21-17 late in the third. Game is on Sport South if you have it. Might be worth watching.

21=17 Vandy end of the 3rd. Chuck South tried to convert a 4th and 8 deep in Vandy territory and failed. Hanging tough though.

How long did the Kitties leave the starters in, risking injury in a meaningless game? Watch some key guys go down late in the season with little to no prior PT for the backups that COULD have come in THIS game.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Re: Week 7 Score Thread
Well the Cats are down all their original starters at WR so they are all essentialy backups, and rotated 6 throughout the game, 5 rb's played, the entire 4th quarter was with all backups on offense (except OL) and about 70% on defense. we started Kneeling the ball at 3:00 remaining in the game and turned it over on downs for their last possession. I dont kinow what else we could have done, except play better defenseSuperHornet wrote:How long did the Kitties leave the starters in, risking injury in a meaningless game? And the refs screwed UCD a couple of times, a td that was called out of bounds and a fumble that wasnt

Congratulations to Chuck South for nearly pulling the upset over Vandy. Their defense did not allow a single point in the second half. Certainly a moral victory for CSU fans.

So a typical banner night for the BSC refs. Re: Week 7 Score Thread
Nope the BSC refs are the still the worst, they made a couple of bad calls against us too. the UCD fumble that wasn't, didn't result in points, it was late in the game and that was when Ash decided to kneel it 4 straight downs on their 8 yard line, so we gave it back to UCD after running some clock off. TD may have had some impact since it was early in the game and would have tied the game at 14-14 but UCD had to settle for a FG instead, but I doubt UCD could have kept up with the second quarter scoring barrage that followed anyway.SDHornet wrote:So a typical banner night for the BSC refs.
