What happened to that WR Brown from JMU? I thought he was destined to play Sundays in a couple of years?

I know some people will chuckle upon reading this but Enderson, the punter from UD is only 2nd-team all CAA??

There aren't 3 better punters in the country, much less anyone in the CAA. Enderson has a better gross punting average than the guy from Stony Brook by 4 yards & his net is 8 yards better.

Let's look at what is the only explanation possible: Enderson is a FR & the Stony Brook kid is a SR. Still weak. Anyone that saw him kick - especially you W&M, UR & VU fans can surely attest.

True. But how sad is it that our best weapon was our punter? :x

John Robertson not getting first team quarterback is hilarious. Did every coach vote for his own player except for one, who happened to vote for the Maine kid?

Quarterback... Wasilewski had a very good season, but what Robertson did this year has almost no historical precedent and he did it against an insanely difficult schedule.

Both had outstanding seasons....Robertson stats for 11 games. Wasilewski 12. Could have gone either way. Wasilewski's team had the better season. His tight end was way more talented than anyone Robertson had to throw to though.

PASSING STATS
G Comp Att Int Pct Yds TD's

Wasilewski, 12 255- 370- 7 68.9 3009 23
Robertson 11 169 247 7 68.4 1957 13 (corrected) 11/29)

RUSHING

Wasilewski 141 attempts for 620 yards 3 TD's
Robertson 217 attempts for 1,405 yards 14 TD's

Underclassmen and transfers are a lot like card counting in Vegas: frowned upon.

Does "leadership" count for anything? Seems like it should at the QB position.

Robertson is a great athlete and individual player........Wasilewski is a great leader and team player. And I'll take Wasilewski's 23 TD passes over Robertson's 7 considering we are talking about the QB position.

Wouldn't expect anything different from a Black Bear fan. You all and he individually had a great season. Good luck in the playoffs. REPRESENT! GO CAA!

I saw Robertson 7 times this year and as you know he is a dynamic player. I hope he turns out to be a great leader and helps Nova make a deep run in one of the next two years.

That's what I figured, and Wasilewski's efforts led Maine to the playoff team that they are. Robertson has two more years to rake in the honors, and he will. The stats might not show it, but Robertson can definitely throw the ball too. VU's two best receivers were injured during this season (Rahman and Joe Price), so he really didn't have any offensive weapons to utilize. He was a one-man wrecking crew this year.
Fact wrote:John Robertson not getting first team quarterback is hilarious. Did every coach vote for his own player except for one, who happened to vote for the Maine kid?
It would be interesting to see who voted for who. I remember after many games this year, that the opposing team's coach stated Robertson was absolutely killer. I remember head coach of Towson Rob Ambrose's quote put it very well,

"How good was John Robertson? Why don’t you ask me how good-looking Charlize Theron is? He’s amazing. He’s not good, he’s amazing. … He extended plays, we couldn’t tackle him, and when we boxed him in, he found a way out. If you want to be really good and have a chance to make a run at the playoffs, you’ve got to have a great signal caller, and he’s not good, he’s great."

I don't know where those numbers are coming from.

Robertson had 20 rushing touchdowns and 13 passing touchdowns.

A quarterback getting 1400 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns in only 11 games has happened like one other time:

Also, leadership is such a garbage thing that's impossible to quantify. Villanova wins maybe two games this season without Robertson, and they get blown out a lot.
