CS Supporter User Bars Donation Drive

Post by AZGrizFan »

This is a duplicate of the thread I initially started in the "Suggestions" forum....not sure how many peeps actually READ that forum, so I'm posting it here for the GenPop:

Question: At what point do the "cs supporter" user bars become meaningless? Meaning, if it's been something like 18 months since you last contributed even a small something to keep this board functioning, should you really have a "supporter" tag under your avatar?

What I'm saying is, unless something has dramatically changed in the cash-flow aspect of this business, I'm sure Chris (and the good people over at AGS if that's what floats your boat--or both, even better!) could use some financial backing from time to time, some small token of your appreciation for the hard work they do and the community they keep up and running for us deadbeats...even if it's only $10, every dollar helps keep the lights on and the website(s) active.

Chris and Ursus, if you boys would be so kind as to post a paypal acct info or something to that effect so that those of us who choose could make another donation that would be appreciated.

And for those of you who have NOT ever donated, try to skip a grande decaf no foam latte a couple times this month and kick in $10. Or $100...whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

Sincerely,

AZGrizFan

disclaimer: Neither Chris nor Ursus asked me to do this. I have no idea what their financial position is relative to the cost of running these boards, servers, etc., etc. But I highly doubt either one are MAKING money on these ventures.

disclaimer #2: The reason I ask is because it's been a LONG time since I donated, yet it still says CS Supporter under my avatar.

How in the world do you still have a normal userbar? Not one person here has decided to fix that?

Quite a few of us are that way. Not many people care.

Typical banker, bitch about what other people do with their money.

Disclaimer 1: I actually have been maintaining my “supporter” status on an annual basis for the past 2 or 3 years…but have been slacking on my annual contribution. :ohno:

Disclaimer 2: The bankers are in the process of taking all of my money which is the reason for my slacking this year. :ohno: Chris, I authorize you to collect my annual contribution for this year from AZ.

I don't have a supporter bar because I'm doing extensive research on what it's like to be a freeloading Obama supporter. :finger:

I've donated multiple times as well, but can't recall the LAST time...and know it's been a while.

That's why I switched accounts, to get rid of that supporter bar that was only there because of support several years old

Because I'm so selfless

See, I'm the opposite. I enjoyed the fact that i could make a small donation and then look like a big spender for several years without anyone knowing I was a cheapskate.

Way to go AZGrizFan. :ohno:

Yeah, you're right, Z. I forgot, where do we send donies?

**Edit: Have a feeling that enterprisin' young guys like Chris and Ursus are making a killing in the Intermountain West escort market, regardless.
