High School: 2004 Guilford County Player of the Year … accounted for over 2,500 all-purpose yards, 1,400 rushing yards, 600 receiving yards, 500 return yards, five interceptions and five onside kick recoveries as a prep … a two-time all-conference performer … lettered on the gridiron all four years … coached by Fritz Hessenthaler … also an all-conference honoree in baseball and track … earned eight varsity letters (four in football, three in baseball, one in track).

Personal: Full name is Travis William Dowda, Jr. … born Jan. 16, 1987 (19 years old) … son of Dawn and Travis Dowda … major is undecided.

It's GAS' way of counting the days down to the beginning of the football season. :idea:

I jus realized I was already told the reason... its GAS way of counting down :oops:
