WOW about the Weber St. predictions.

Re: 2010 Big Sky team by team record break down
My predictions definitely look pretty top heavy, considering the Big Sky (I'm sure) has never had 10, 9, and 8 game winners in the same season. And NAU will probably flop yet again and lose to inferior teams down the line.

I also need to research this CWU-EWU game. Not sure who CWU all lost, but it should be a close one regardless.

EWU-UM too for that matter. In fact, it's gonna be really interesting to see how all 3 games go between EWU, MSU and UM

Northern Arizona (7-4)
9/2 Western New Mexico W - YES
9/11 @ Arizona State. L - YES
9/25 @ Idaho State W - YES
10/2 @ Southern Utah L - Key game for the Jacks, who have never lost in Cedar City. W
10/9 @ Eastern Washington L - will be close
10/16 Montana State W - Can the Cats get revenge for last year?
10/23 @ Montana L - one of these years, Souers has to beat his old team, right?
10/30 Sacramento State (Homecoming) W - JACKS will be gunning for Sac State
11/6 @ Northern Colorado W - Trap Game
11/13 Weber State W - Toss up
11/20 Portland State W - YUP
So anywhere between 6-5 and 8-3.

Re: 2010 Big Sky team by team record break down
You are seriously having a laugh if you think MSU goes 9-2. Also, no way EWU losses to both Montana schools. A split is more likely, and then one other loss to some other BSC team we should not lose to.

Re: 2010 Big Sky team by team record break down
Interesting that you think the Griz are going to win AT Cal Poly and AT EWU to begin the year (new system), but then lose AT Wa/Griz to MSU at the END of the year with 10 games of experience under their belts. And considering the Cats have won in Missoula exactly ONCE since Wa/Griz was built....me thinks you might want to reconsider...Silenoz wrote:Montana (10-1)

Seriously? Dude, CWU will get blown out by at least 20 points in that one. Way too many weapons on offense for CWU to contain.Silenoz wrote:I also need to research this CWU-EWU game. Not sure who CWU all lost, but it should be a close one regardless.

Re: 2010 Big Sky team by team record break down
I could legitimately see them going 1-10 this year, with the only "W" against Montana-Western. They may have a shot against UNC or PSU. Maybe.Silenoz wrote:TypoEWURanger wrote:Also, no way does ISU beat Sac State this year.

Sac State and Northern Arizona managing to get their shit together? And in the same year? That's even more ridiculous than my guesses!

Am I missing something? Did Weber just shit the bucket after last year? Did they lost most of their team?

Re: 2010 Big Sky team by team record break down
Common sense says that PSU will indeed lose all their games, with 180 degree switch on offense and defense sets and a new coaching staff. The trauma of the Glanville years are still with us - it's hard to dig out of a couple seasons like we've had. Fact is, we know absolutely nothing about the quality of this team. It might be 0-11 - but we could win two or three. We've got to get through the massacre of Oregon and Arizona first. May not have much to play with when that's done.

Re: 2010 Big Sky team by team record break down
I'm in shock at the cred we're getting here. A few caveats, though:
1. I don't believe Sac loses to Eastern. As much as it pains me to admit it, I think there's a much greater chance Sac loses to the Manure Pile.
2. I just can't believe PSU gets the horsecollar, even with the philosophy change. Mr. Tiger is a great guy, and he's going to pay dividends for the Vikes IMMEDIATELY. No, they're not going to challenge for conference this year. But they won't be oh-fer, either.
3. I can't believe Weber has a losing record.
4. I wouldn't guarantee UNC-PSU as a Bear win. I wouldn't guarantee ANYTHING about this game; it's about as pick-'em as it gets. I'll also put UNC-USD in the same category.
5. While it's hard to say ANYTHING about Homecoming since so many teams don't have those games designated on these lists, outside of NAU (possibly) and Montana (a lesser possibility), I don't see ANYONE losing Homecoming this year. And that's the way it should be. Just don't be dumb like Sac was a few years back and schedule the Griz for Homecoming. That's just asking for a bad tailwhipping.

Disagree. Unless they reloaded and snagged another D-I caliber QB like Mike Reilly, they will not come close to beating us. Not going to lie, I'm a little worried about it being a trap game if we come out flat, and I fully expect CWU to put up a good fight, but EWU by 3 tds.Silenoz wrote:I also need to research this CWU-EWU game. Not sure who CWU all lost, but it should be a close one regardless.

IF there's a D-II school in our region (being that there are very few) with the ability to beat EWU, it's probably CWU. BUT it's probably not going to happen. For once, I gotta agree with Screamin.Screamin_Eagle174 wrote:Disagree. Unless they reloaded and snagged another D-I caliber QB like Mike Reilly, they will not come close to beating us.
