41 points off 6 turnovers is pretty lame actually. Type anything you want cause this will be settled in Texas. Until then Ucan suck ourD
You're right, we left too many points on the field Friday. We'll need to clean up our red zone offense a little.
Let's face it. Both UD and EWU are very good teams deserving of a spot in the CG. Both were also assisted by a mistake-laden performance by their semifinal foe, but neither's opponent "lost the game" (regardless of what you read on GSUfans.com). They both earned their tickets to Frisco.
This should be a fun game. Comparing EWU to Colgate '03 would be a grave error on anyone's part. EWU is explosive. Colgate was not (one dimensional with Branch).

It seems to me from the highlight that I have seen is that both Delaware and EWU are the most balanced teams offensively. EWU's defense has really stepped up, but they will be challenged by Delaware. Both NDSU and Villanova didn't offer much in a passing attack. That won't be the case in this game.
I would love for the Eagles to win but I would have to give the edge to Delaware going in. Turnovers will be the difference.

Yep, Swoop has been pretty much bringing' it all year, but he really stepped up his level of intensity during the playoffs. He creates a serious matchup problem for opposing teams with his quickness and moves. The best UD can do is hope to contain him enough to keep it close.

I did some quick checking relative to the points per game averages for both EWU and UD opponents.. eliminating Central Washington and Nevada for EWU and West Chester and Duquesne for Delaware. EWU's opponents averaged 27.2 per game.. UD's 22.1. but the relevant fact is that UD was able to hold their opponents to 10.6 points per game UNDER their combined season average of 22.1.. while EWU was only able to hold opponents to 1.8 points per game under their season average of 27.2.
The fact that the UD defense was able to hold opponents 10.6 under their season average.. compared to EWU's 1.8... is what is relevant.. not your assertion that UD played mostly mediocre offenses.

I was responding to some smack with that statement.
Still, the fact that you've played 0 teams ranked in the top 20 in scoring offense, and only 3 in the top 50, while we've faced 3 in the top 20 and 8 in the top 50 skews your stats a little. And throwing out the best offense we played in Nevada and two of the worst offenses you played in Duquesne and West Chester to pad your argument doesn't help either.
UD has a great defense, that has played one very good offense in Nova. So you're pts allowed compared to ours might be a little deceiving.
I hope both teams have a very good, clean, and professional looking game, that will hopefully get more people to realize how good FCS football (and a playoff system) can be.

Lets take a look. EWU was what +4 in turnovers vs nova and put up 41... UD is +5 vs Georgia Southern and put up 27? They scored more points and had more yards vs nova AND were missing jones to boot
And theres your championship game. EWU 38 - ud 23

Well there it is ladies and gents...the EWU fan agrees with the EWU fan... Good thing UD's two loses have been by 1 pt (missed FG as time expired) and OT fumble at the 1 yd line. So obviously they will lose by 15 on a neutral site.

I like your thinking!
Judging from your coaches recent comments, it would appear UD has already won the game.
I have never seen so many foul mouth college football fans than I have this year with some of the EWU posters here. Why is that ?????????????
On December 12, 1775 the Continental Congress created a Battalion of minuteman from the three counties in Delaware. Kent county militia were fans and owners of Game Cocks; Fight'n Blue Hens as they were called. The Fight'n Blue Hens became known far and wide as the very best Fighting Game Cocks around. Thus, the Blue Hen was established.

Who gives a fuck if you don't like the language? We ain't all here to make sure that you aren't offended.
If you can't handle the bar type setting around here then it may not be the place for you but I hope you can. The Blue Hen Fans on here are quite the solid group of mother fuckers!
You shouldn't be able to see anything other ************'s anyway unless you unchecked "word censoring" in your User CP. If you need any help with that let me know and I'll help ya fix it you can't see it.
OK, I'm outta here. Going to stop by the package store for some good beer, finish fixing the pork bbq I put in the slow cooker this morning, and get settled in for the game.

Because I talk to your mom with this mouth... in the bedroom.
Good luck, Eagles. Pulling for the Big Sky Conference brethren in this one. Wish Taiwan Jones was healthy but I still think you have a fighting chance in this one.
But if Delaware wins....better the Blue Hens than a few other schools I won't mention.
