We wouldnt need a new stadium for an FBS if the idiot liberals led by jon lindgren hadnt blocked the original plans for the FFD and nearly stopped the project all together. Lakes may be a drunk but he is correct about the move to the FBS, probably the Big 12.

John....that is not even credible. The Fargodome seating does not even come close to generating the cash that would be needed for even a MWC school. If you took the games outdoors the attendance would drop because you would loose the casual fans that will not freeze their asses off to watch football. It ain't happening.

Conference facilities range from 50,000 at Baylor and Kansas State to 100,119 at Texas. I don't see the 19,000 Fargodome in between those numbers.

16,000 at Idaho and 16,009 at Texas State to 65,000 at UTSA. Fargodome fits in between those. Maybe they will accept you.

An FBS move isn't even going to be discussed until our facility improvement projects are done and even then it isn't likely. NDSU is happy where it is now but if other schools or conferences start jumping anything could happen.
