So far only South Dakota St has players who heard their names called.

I'm absolutely sick of ESPN's talking heads thinking that THEY are the show, not the players involved. Every player drafted deserves to hear their name called from the bloody lectern. The stage itself is way too produced for my taste. It's worse than WWE...

2024 FCS Undrafted Rookies Tracker

Northern Iowa DB Woo Governor - Raiders
Northern Iowa WR Sam Schnee - Titans

I would think someone will give Matthew Cook a shot.

Kid I coached in floor hockey signed with the Ravens as a UDFA. He's a good kid, I hope he makes it.

I didn't see their coverage. But given what I've seen of them in the past, I'm not thrilled with them, either....

I'll tell you something else I'm consistent on. I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan, and I want to fire McCarthy and cut Prescott and Anger, and replace all three with Danny White. That said, I'm ALSO trading up to #1 in the 2025 draft to take Kaiden Bennett....

Only drafting 11 FCS players suggests the NFL ism’t paying closer attention to FCS.

I'm not sure anything has changed. The NFL looks at all levels of collegiate football. They pay more attention to the P4 than the G5 or FCS. The difference is that it's now easier for the difference makers at the G5/FCS level to move to a P4 school like Jared Verse did from Albany to Florida State. G5 and FCS schools are still finding and developing talented players but not all of them will finish their collegiate career at the original G5/FCS school.

That’s true, and now probably an understatement.
FCS now = AA
G5 = AAA
P4= Majors.

Multi year all conference players at FCS and G5 will become rare.

JMU just lost another 3 players (1 starter) to the Indiana Dukes….I mean Hoosiers. Of 22 who started the majority of games at every positiom:
-5 seniors
-12 to portal (10 to IU (13 overall to IU)).
-5 return.

JMU now probably going to pluck some top level FCS players. Going to be similar shit every year.
