Congratulations to Liberty Lady Flames pitcher Julia DiMartino (3-3), who tossed a 12-0 perfect game against Princeton this past Sunday. This is her third no-no and first perfecto. It is Liberty's first perfect game since 2005 and fourth overall.

Liberty softball continues to be led by Olympic Gold Medalist Dr. Dot Richardson. The Flames are 7-6, but are on a roll, winning all three of its games in the Liberty Softball Challenge by a combined score of 42-2.
(In other Liberty softball news, the Lady Flames downed Delaware State 20-0 last week.)

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
