I don't think we can afford it - as I understand it Satterfield only makes a little over $700K which is bargain basement even for the SB. Unless ECU was capable of throwing a huge amount of money at him I doubt he'd take it - it's really a lateral move to EZU and you have to live in Greenville NC.
No you don't
You can live in New Bern

I gotta check that place out sometime. Being from WNC my Eastern NC knowledge is limited.
I have been to the other Greenville and wouldn't live there, but that's just me.
Wet, cold day in the high country today. I've seen both of the ULL matchups this season and feel like we've played below par both times, but just enough to win. Decent crowd today given the weather and most stayed until it was over.
The Sun Belt Champ plays the CUSA Runner-up in the NO Bowl.
The MAC Champ is playing the CUSA Champ in the Boca Raton Bowl.
The 3rd place in the West of the AAC is playing the Sun Belt Runner-up in Orlando.
To me it looks like CUSA didn't want to see their champion get embarrassed in New Orleans.
Laughayette better take Tulane to the woodshed...

GS is a 3.5 dog to EMU.
Laughatyette is also -3.5 to Tulane and Troy is -4 to Buffalo.
There's a lot of money to be made here...
It's been corrected. App is now the 9 point favorite.
Still lots and lots of money to be made.
I wondered about the App projection. We aren't even getting their conference champ in this game. MTSU is 8-5, but three of the five were P5 opponents. Still, I like our chances.

It sucks, but I'm happy for him - he's bled black and yellow for years and he's deserving of an opportunity to prove himself in P5. App is loaded for next season, and I just hope whoever inherits the keys will be able to effectively exploit it.

You have to make the right hire though. We know how it feels, but I don't expect your administration to make the same stupid mistakes ours did.

I'm going to convert you to the darker side one day. It would be nice to count a Harvarder among the Mountaineer nation.
Actually, my wife and I tailgated in Boone at a GSU-ASU game in 2013 or thereabouts. ASU won going away, but the App fans we talked to were very nice folks.
Great season for the Mountaineers! Except for one game in Statesboro of course. Hard to believe it is five years in the Sun Belt. For the record, since the "move up" App has five winning seasons and been to Bowl games in the four years allowed. Their Bowl record is now 4-0, a first.
In the next few seasons we get to see if a new coach can sustain the success.
I might have missed something but by my quick check App State is 0-7 against the mainstream of FBS since changing subdivisions. It is not a factor in FBS. It's one more wannabe program.
When I say "mainstream" I mean what we now call the "Power 5" conferences plus Notre Dame. That's really what FBS is about. The "Group of 5" conference teams and other independents are the periphery. The world of the wannabes.
