I went TCU/Ok St - let's see what OK St is all about. I wouldn't begrudge the Mississippi St/Georgia game - that's a game that will tell us if either of them is a fraud or legit.

Where's Navy?
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

But they are a dangerous team, when they play defense well, under the lights, on national tv, at home. And all of those things are in place this weekend, with a Penn St team that, while talented offensively, hasn't really shown the explosiveness yet on that side of the ball this year, Georgia St nonwithstanding. I think Penn St wins, but this could be a tussle.HI54UNI wrote:Iowa is mediocre at best.Rob Iola wrote:I know I know - "post your own pole."

Well it is Iowa, also known as "better to be lucky than good".GannonFan wrote:But they are a dangerous team, when they play defense well, under the lights, on national tv, at home. It was a good game. If you only looked at the stats you'd never guess that it would be that close.93henfan wrote:Penn State @ Iowa.

Any game between a ranked B1G and Iowa is usually a doozie. They're the spoiler du jour.

Look at the box score. First numbers are Penn St, second is Iowa.GannonFan wrote:*cough* *cough*GannonFan wrote:

Iowa lived up to its motto, better to be lucky than good!

Gotta admit, even with all of the syrupy ESPN build-up, that Kinnick wave at night with everyone's cell phones on flash light app was pretty awesome...GannonFan wrote:*cough* *cough*GannonFan wrote:
