Chose the PAC-12 this time. There are a few post-Thanksgiving turkeys in this bunch!

PSU/Wisconsin could be for a spot in the playoffs.

Oklahoma/Oklahoma St is a consideration worthy game as well, although not a conference championship game per se.

I'm actually interested in the Temple/Navy game so I'm going with that one.

I chose COL-WASH. Go Buffs. Keep the WC(b) out of the playoffs.

It's not a conf champ game, but OK/OK St could be added to the list in terms of playoff implications.

VT's got the D and QB/WRs to give Clemson a scare.

If VT and Colorado both win you could be looking at 3 Big 10 teams in the playoffs, although I think Oklahoma sneaks in ahead of the 3rd B1G team in that scenario, if they beat OK State.

With a couple upsets, the PSU/Wisconsin winner gets a spot over OU/OSU so that would lock in two B1G teams.

Would the OU/OSU winner jump Michigan, if Washington and Clempson both lost?

There's no way the B1G gets three teams, period, so losses by Udub and Clemson could open the door. Anything short of that and no way OU or OSU gets in.

Obviously neither of the best two teams in the Big 10 are in the Big 10 championship game. But this one has the most impact on the national stage.

Can't change my vote but I've changed my mind. Now it's looking like the Pac 12 championship game is key. If Washington loses we could have both Ohio State and Michigan in the 4 team playoff. I suppose that could also happen if Clemson loses.

Interesting weekend coming up.

Dunno. Clinton still lost. The economy.

There was an article the other day stating that Navy is in a potential "screw EVERYBODY" position in that the exhibition tournament rules (I won't dignify this travesty by calling it a "playoff") now state that the final bowl selections can't be made until after Army-Navy if that game will affect any of the decisions. As it now stands, Navy would be the G5 rep in the Cotton Bowl, though they have to get past both the AAC Championship Game and Army-Navy to get there. A loss to Army (however unlikely) would throw the entire bowl landscape into freefall. P5 elitists are REALLY hating Navy right about now. I wish they had a legit shot at winning the national championship, but P5 elitists have done everything in their power to legislate them (and every other G5 school) out of it....

I hadn't seen the news on the playoff committee rankings and statements. The playoff committee issued its new rankings and said that the margin between 4 (Washington) and 5 (Michigan) is "razor thin." Also I heard a bunch of other stuff about how both Michigan and Ohio State could end up in the four team field.

I'd like to see a scenario of Clemson and Washington both losing and Penn St winning, just to see WTF the committee does with the B1G teams.
