What is his stance on pedos?

You gotta swing and miss a few to hit a few home runs.

It's where he always wanted to be. It would be a good hire for them. He really had no chance at Tampa Bay.

O'Brien is staying. Even if he left, Penn State would not hire Schiano unless he was the last coach on earth.

Texans are going to hire O'Brien. You're delusional.
Re: New Penn State HC Greg Schiano
remember NO ONE at Penn State knew anything about anything that had ever happened in their faculties ever because no one in the nation actually knows what is happening in the facilities....Ever...the NCAA just wanted to witch hunt and kill Joe.Grizalltheway wrote:Texans are going to hire O'Brien. Yeah, because people who want to stay somewhere feverishly renegotiate their buyout clause each year.CitadelGrad wrote:O'Brien is staying. Even if he left, Penn State would not hire Schiano unless he was the last coach on earth.

Re: New Penn State HC Greg Schiano
That isn't the only thing that is being re-negotiated. Most of what O'Brien is negotiating concerns compensation for his asst. coaches, a larger recruiting budget and more autonomy from the AD, whom he hates. The word is that O'Brien is close to getting everything he wants. They buyout reduction is just insurance.93henfan wrote:Yeah, because people who want to stay somewhere feverishly renegotiate their buyout clause each year.CitadelGrad wrote:O'Brien is staying. Only one incident was alleged to have happened on campus and the "victim" in that incident said that it did not happen. He claims to have been abused by Sandusky, but not on the Penn State campus.clenz wrote:remember NO ONE at Penn State knew anything about anything that had ever happened in their faculties ever because no one in the nation actually knows what is happening in the facilities....Ever...the NCAA just wanted to witch hunt and kill Joe.Grizalltheway wrote:Texans are going to hire O'Brien. Texans and O'Brien agree to a contract per multiple reports on Twitter....and tv....and radio...and everywhere
Re: New Penn State HC Greg Schiano
or he reduced his buy it by TWELVE FUCKING MILLION DOLLARS to make him more attractive to the nfl.CitadelGrad wrote:That isn't the only thing that is being re-negotiated. He played PSU like a masterful puppeteer. He got a ton of money from them, got a job to get him to the nfl by saying "I wont leave and to prove so I agree to an 18 million dollar buy out", got a chance to prove he can handle being a head coach, all while knowing he had PSU bent over like Sandusky had those little boys to say "reduce my buy out to get my assts more money" or anything else.
He deserves an amazing round of applause for that but of a smoke screen

I won't be able to find out what happened until tomorrow, but as of this morning he was staying at Penn State. I think I know what happened but I don't have any confirmation right now.clenz wrote:well...shockingly your wrong.....again....CitadelGrad wrote:O'Brien is staying. Re: New Penn State HC Greg Schiano
Whether it's concerning sports or politics is there anyone on this board wrong more often than CitadelGrad?
Why did O'Brien leave? It's common knowledge:
1- He prefers the pro game.
2- The sanctions he walked into were worse than he imagined.
3- Dealing with the Paterno fan faction
4- PSU in transition with AD and Presidents lame ducks
Etc, etc, etc

Re: New Penn State HC Greg Schiano
It just bothers the hell out of people that Penn State has shown a measure of success under O'Brien instead of falling off the face of the earth. Whomever comes in after O'Brien will be able to continue building on the foundation he set. Schiano is getting a terrible rep because of what happened in TB, some coaches are just simply better in college than they are in the NFL, that doesn't make them terrible coaches. It would be a great hire for Penn State.
I wonder if Keeler is a candidate?

Sure money plays into it, but he made $3.2 mil plus at PSU so it wasn't like he was crying poor.
