Please. Getting people to work FORTY hours a week is hard enough....very very few are working 70 hours. You act like it's the norm....

The Bureau of Labor Statistics tracks how many hours per week the average American works and releases that information as part of the monthly Employment Situation Summary. According to the most recent data (May 2019), Americans worked an average of 34.4 hours per week.

Average Hours per Week Worked (US)

Age
Age 16 years and older: 38.9
Age 16-19: 24.1
Age 20-24: 34.8
Age 25-54: 40.5
55 and Over: 38.0

Gender
Men worked an average of 41.0 hours per week in paid employment. Women worked an average of 36.4 hours per week.

Marital Status
Married men worked 4.5 hours more per week than men who had never married. Married women worked 1.7 hours more than women who had never married.

Race
White American: 38.9 hours per week
African American: 38.7 hours per week
Asian American: 38.9 hours per week

In October, average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls increased
by 11 cents to $30.96, following large increases in the prior 6 months. Over the past 12
months, average hourly earnings have increased by 4.9 percent. In October, average hourly
earnings of private-sector production and nonsupervisory employees rose by 10 cents to
$26.26. (See tables B-3 and B-8.)

The average workweek for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls decreased by 0.1 hour to
34.7 hours. In manufacturing, the average workweek edged down by 0.1 hour to 40.3 hours, and
overtime edged down by 0.1 hour to 3.2 hours. The average workweek for production and
nonsupervisory employees on private nonfarm payrolls decreased by 0.1 hour to 34.1 hours.

Loudoun County VA, where my kids go to school, is putting NDAs on the curriculum and taking other steps to shield it from FOIA requests.

You’d think after all this publicity and denials that the ideas of systemic racism and perpetual victimhood are being taught, that a government operation would want to be more transparent to prove their claims.

No biggie though - I kind of hope they keep these shenanigans up. They already turned Virginia red maybe we can get Massachusetts next.
