 The "too busy to..."excuse for pretty much anything doesn't hold water.
It may not be a good excuse, but it’s reality. A reality that much of our economy, from worker productivity to consumer spending, is based upon.

“We can have it all!” Quality parenting AND two income households AND the 70 hour work week.

Please. Getting people to work FORTY hours a week is hard enough....very very few are working 70 hours. You act like it's the norm....

That's because Maryland has a huge Asian student body and I guess they don't want to be accused of using Asians to boost their minority numbers. But yeah, that's kind of stupid to not consider them to be "of color". The school is close to becoming a majority minority.

So if CRT isn't taught in schools, this FOIA request will turn up nothing, correct?

You’d think after all this publicity, we’d already know exactly what’s being taught and whether or not it’s accurate…

Loudoun County VA, where my kids go to school, is putting NDAs on the curriculum and taking other steps to shield it from FOIA requests.

You’d think after all this publicity and denials that the ideas of systemic racism and perpetual victimhood are being taught, that a government operation would want to be more transparent to prove their claims.

No biggie though - I kind of hope they keep these shenanigans up. They already turned Virginia red maybe we can get Massachusetts next.

I posted about that earlier. How is an NDA valid or enforceable?

Ganny asked "How can a school district just announce that they aren't covered by the state's (or commonwealth's) FOIA laws? Did the school district nullify that law?"

Well good luck figuring that one out in Loudoun County.

Also - for asking that question the DOJ might agree that you could be a domestic terrorist.

I’m skeptical of the sturm and drang over something that no one seems to be able to demonstrate. True.

I sincerely would appreciate some proof that CRT is worthy of the consternation.

It can be difficult to prove something true if boards such as Loudon County' work to shield their curriculum from FOIA requests. Is the reality that they're attempting to shield their curriculum proof that they are teaching CRT? No. Is it a legitimate reason for concern? Yes.

Racism doesn't exist in the US, except in white supremacist groups. It's not in any other written laws, rules, literature, curriculum...
