Today Trump said he doesn't know Matt Whitaker. Last month he told Fox News he knows Matt Whitaker. So what' going on?

I think you give him way too much credit. He's just a total bullshitter who can't keep track of his own bullshit. There is no grand plan or strategy in his head. He just lies and bullshits as necessary in the moment and hopes for the best. And unfortunately he's got millions of people who fall for that crap. Not the majority of the people, mind you. But enough to create a situation where we have an atrocity like him in the position he's in.

So are you going to vote? It pretty much has to be one of those three things. Which do you think it is?

I mean, we really knows what it is. We all know the guy lies practically every time he opens his mouth. But at least we have a situation in which he had to be accurate in one case but not in the other. Either he knows the guy or he doesn't.
